It was presented to be a bit of red flag due to dubious consent with sex but the plot twists had shown MC just gave up and accepted ML's love with each variations each week. Spiralling back to square one over 78 times is tough. ML had to confess all over again. Had to bear of Mc acting frantic after the day he proposed. That is just so hard..
ML had held on to his one sided love for too long. He had suffered much, 78 weeks of psychological torture plus the months of MC literally in ICU recovering, repeating the same scenarios week by week can possibly make someone go nuts.
