Agreed, plus how would they know how to fight in that style either? How people fight can be very different from one trained as a noble/knight vs a commoner (though often times I imagine commoners learn how to fight along the way and through experience over being trained).
Also, why did the guy who reported back to that lord guy mention everyone BUT their guardians as well? Like they should just be normal people to them and its not like they hid the fact they were with the group (especially when they beat those guards up).
In addition to that, shouldn't the twins' guardian be strange to them??
