Welp. That sure was something. I liked it because I’m a sucker for childhood friends to lovers but damn Tae-sung really went nutso. I get it, kinda. No I really do. Being obsessed for that long with so much misunderstanding and so much parental and societal oppression; that’d make anyone a little crazy. Rather than rooting out a mental illness, the adults in Tae-sung’s life created one and he had no outlet and almost no one to talk to about it. He was completely isolated, whereas Wooyoung was able to make friends easily and continue moving forward.

Anyway, I’m glad they ended up together and that Wooyoung is dedicated to reassuring Tae-sung of his feelings every couple of hours. It’s giving the ending of Mocking Jay.

Placing is glacial, dialogue is awkward and lackluster... AND YET I need more. The art is nice, I love that the MC is like "fml can he please leave me alone" and the seme is working harder than he ever has before for something that he's not even sure he wants. Not sure where this is going because the characters are like planes passing by each other in opposite directions but I'm still oddly invested.

Go Eunhyuk, if you know you're the problem then tell her to give up and give up yourself. Let it go. If you don't let it go, then stop standing around and actually speak words. Like just SAY SOME WORDS!!!! Any words! Speech! Mouth + sounds! UGHHHH!!!

I think the ferris wheel just stopped like normal, but they're both new to the experience and didn't expect it. I also think the next episode will have a little badum badum but will ultimately end with Jaekyung NOT having sex with Dan. He's already admitted to feeling completely relaxed in a way he's never been before.

The other thing is that Jaekyung wants to kiss Dan and Dan isn't willing to give in yet, so Jaekyung won't feel good about sex without it. He's watching Dan's reactions with care this time around, rather than detached curiosity, so each expression is getting to him more and more. If Dan reacts badly, Jaekyung is just going to back off.

How many episodes until the match? Well the next one will either jump ahead to the morning of the match with flashbacks to the night before like how some of his match episodes have gone, or we'll have a segway episode to the awkward bedroom encounter (I'm like 99% sure it's going to be awkward). If they do have sex, that's probably going to take up one to two episodes like usual: the initiation episode and the conclusion episode which may or may not include part of the match.

About the match: it's most certainly rigged. This is his comeback match but because it's not Jumin or Junmin or whoever he is, no one's going to suspect it. I think, however, Dan will notice something outside of the ring and try to intervene or stop it. He's on high alert this time and, after Disney world, he's starting to care about Jaekyung's success again. Can't count on anyone else though, none of the other characters seem to have any awareness.

So excited to see how this unfolds.

I had to go find the raws to get sleep. This story is such a bummer the way it leaves off here. I don't know what got them there, because I couldn't be bothered to go through the heartache of whatever ended up happening, but there eventually is some kind of happy ending.
