I was considering reading it further even if romance was introduced because I thought it would be more lowkey and that they would simply start building the romance in the background until they eventually decide to make it a thing a few dozens of chapters later like how it is in most action manhwas I've read, but they do not plan to do that and instead they full on acknowledged everything, we're just short of them actually deciding to date, which is not for me
We frankly do not know anything at all about the FL, our only view of her is through her one appearance prior in which she was unconscious for all but 10 pages maybe and since the story is in it's very early stages as well, we do not ultimately know much about the MC as well, because most of his backstory is mentioned, but not dived into yet, so not only is our knowledge of the characters poor, the writing of the romance is sudden and disappointing, but we aren't invested in any of their stories yet either to make it worthwhile
I really wish this either didn't have romance or actually spent time with the MC and FL slowly developing feelings for each other, because considering they met ONCE and already cannot stop blushing at just the thought of each other, no one else matters to them and the story is already impacted by the decisions based on those feelings, 31 chapters in, it is not looking great imo
I have been enjoying it and it matched on a few points with my expectations and what I was looking for which was great, but the romance in this manhwa is dreadful
It has some of worst writing in terms of romance I have seen
The MC's personality completely changes, he starts blushing, throwing in flirty lines, complimenting the female characters and agreeing to everything they say (they even explicitly tell us that they are manipulating him, so those moments are awful go against the intelligent character we're supposed to believe he has)
He doesn't loose himself in horniness and act like a typical ecchi anime protagonist which makes it not as disturbing to read, but it's very disturbing how much he deviates from his original personality
Not to mention the potential love interests being two which are actively trying to manipulate him and only got close so they can use him, a girl he adresses like family because of being sworn brothers with her father and the least problematic one being a girl who only likes him because he saved her family (which also acts completely different from what she was introduced as and what her character was used in the plot to represent)
I feel really conflicted because the beginning of the story was interesting and I quite like the venerables, but the romance, the main character's personality and the cliche plot of 'a hidden bad guy, that no one knew about but is immensely powerful, threatening the world peace to which the mc needs to step up because he's the chosen one and the only one who can defeat him' that I feel is coming because of the setup with the antagonists is not for me, so after the 120 chapter long journey I might be signing off
Have fun reading if you're enjoying the story though
This is such a joy to read
I love medical manhwas and historical manhwas, so it's right up my alley from the get go, but it actually utilizing people and even events from three kingdoms just makes it seem more meaningful and introduces another layer to a story I was already enjoying
Really interested to see where the story goes on later and how it will blend the three kingdom's events with the author's original ideas down the road seeing we have a lot to go through still (like his relationship with Cao Cao going forward and the events surrounding those two)
I've been keeping up weekly with this and have been enjoying it so far
There were some parts that weren't for me during the Queen's arc, but it was enjoyable
The latest arc with Jihyun is really not for me though, I do not like her as a character and her having to be convinced by everyone everytime something doesn't go perfectly is making it hard to read
I would understand him wanting for someone to discover Jihyun's talent and wanting her to do well in her singing career considering he was her agent before his death, but the way the author has been going about it is really bad in my opinion and not something I have enjoyed, I really do not understand why he has to fight her battles when he is a noone in the industry still and not simply let her come into herself as the company/professionals help her as he progresses his own career
I might come back to reread it when more chapters are released to see where it the story goes, but for now I will drop it instead of continuing reading something I'm not enjoying
I was against the idea of a harem as I do not enjoy it in stories, but latest chapter leaning more into the idea of the red head being bisexual and it being a poly relationship is really interesting and I'm not as against it anymore ngl
I hope the relationship actually progresses more into that than the girls only interacting because of their love for the mc or fighting each other for his attention

I'm loving the way the artist is coloring Cheonhee's hair in the recent chapters
I always liked how they used a lighter color for the head and then black for the bangs and ponytail, but now?
The much brighter ashy blonde for the whole hair length, including the ponytail, with black highlights at the bangs is so good!
It shows off much better the style of how the author draws his hair, contrasts nicely with everyone else, makes him pop off and look much more unique now, not to mention really highlighting the slow changes in the artist's art through drawing this manhwa for 200+ chapters now
I could honestly go on and on about how much I'm loving it, I'm hoping it's the general new direction
Same, I'm really liking the art in the recent chapters
