One thing I realized from the beginning the three MCs are all victims one way or another. The FL was only conceived as a tool of her mom never receiving any affection except from her “brother” who seemed to be sexually assaulted by her mom. He couldn’t take it anymore and seemed to turn into a serial killer of women, the knight is in the servant—master position of being a substitute for her “brother.” Of course in these type of stories there is nothing in place to protect children/people from abuse or centers for treatment. No doubt there would be psychological damage, it would be better if we saw some healing within the smut, how the FL overhauls the system and protects other children like her and her brother.

I'm glad that after all these chapters those triplets hatched, I'm not sure about the passage of time or how long pregnancy lasts in this world but it's been forever. I get that differences on the smallest level will be grounds for prejudice and discrimination of the highest levels, but it really killed some of the joy. And wouldn't this be the time to start getting people use to half-beasts, I mean everyone in this world has elements of other animals or are more human-like, actually it would make more sense to ostracize the beasts that look more human. Since the FL started movements on improving lives what about slowly integrating civil rights, I also expect that the "half-beasts" would grow tired of living hidden from others and start living unashamedly. I know they began from a curse but why should they change who they are? Σ( ￣□￣||)
Right! Like what about everyone who was mining the salt with the half beasts? And didn't her chief agree to her marrying Fleurs, the Lord of the half beats? That should have been the stepping stone towards ending the discrimination.
I didn’t even think of that, it would’ve been a good example of love between the half-beasts and other beasts like you said, it also would’ve made some interesting revolts to quell, and where people hate/misunderstand and disagree there’s people who agree and may love the change in time. I would’ve liked to seen more couples or friends amount the half-beasts, then it wouldn’t seem like such a insurmountable barrier.

The FL did mourn her and the previous owner of her body’s past but she didn’t wonder the whole time whether or not she could alter the main storyline instead she took actions that would ensure her safety and began paving a path towards happiness. The OG FL is adorable and the rest of her family was worth winning over! I’m not even irritated, just cursing the FL’s and previous body owner’s scummy fathers and hope they and her brother and sister feel powerless and valueless as she felt. (︶︿︶)＝凸
Just some thoughts ahead….
I read some comments before reading and I’m at 13 ch. at the moment. I can see why many people love the 2nd ml. I thought some things that aren’t typically seen: FL isn’t going on and on about how she’s got an inescapable fate and can’t can’t fully enjoy or live life in a new world, her dedication to helping the main couple was cute, and not being delusional about ML’s sociopathic tendencies, constant craving for entertainment, and warped view of love that most likely came from whatever conditioning he went through to get to where he is now. I think she could’ve ended any hopes with 2ml early but he knew that her and ml were already falling in love they “just hadn’t realized it yet.”

The main story changed so drastically due to her efforts on keeping him entertained without him steering straight into becoming a mastermind killer. The irony is that his step-sister already loves him and accepted him even with that sociopathy nature of his, but I wonder where things go from?

Like many have said Edith knows how to handle herself in difficult situations, and that last line is so well timed and reminded me that before Killian went off to war and his father still hasn’t recognized her as a daughter of their house to be protected (and they’ll be battling her trashy bio fam)…and a couple times before when Edith was doubting her place with Killian he’d encourage her with, “what’s your name?” Even when he’s not there she uplifted with that and his heart she wears around her neck (necklace). And Killian recognized he’ll never get his father’s approval on anything and only calls him “your excellency” inserting the void between them that his father definitely made bigger…what’s wrong with that man saying his love is nonsense? His other daughter-in-law ha known the pain of being illegitimate and not being accepted by her family, it would have made her a better OG FL to recognize Edith’s suffering as a political tool of her family, I know the author is pressing for black and white storytelling, but it’s so much better if someone knew how her trashy family treated her.

I get she didn’t want the obsessive ML route and wanted to help someone being auctioned off…nothen wrong with that I’m thinking the way she just hoped for the best as her bros carried her off was sad. Like I’ve seen maybe getting him a loving family that wanted to adopt a gifted child that needs healing from many traumas perhaps or begging her father to let him grow up alongside her as a friend her own age not her servant. Something other than… “be free and live a good life young one.” ╥﹏╥
Spoilers and venting ahead....
As the readers we see all things that happen and have to impatiently wait until certain characters realize what's going on or comes out of denial on their own since they don't have the same info. I liked those moments when Clodan reasearched his curse just to come up empty when he couldn't break it, when he genuinely told Ray he doesn't know what love is, while at the same time he allows himself to get swept up in whatever emotion takes him: rage, jealousy, and lust. It broke my heart a little when he allowed her to chase after the bunny, knowing she wouldn't want to harm while knowing he wanted to corrupt her. I also wonder about that little Clodan she saw in her vision that was trying to help her stay true to herself. Clodan masterminded Ray's grandpa to send her there for entertainment and didn't expect to like her lack of ultrerior motives and trust so much. She begged to be allowed to know what was happening, I understood not telling her at first but to keep her so in the dark is irritating. Should I not have the option to know I won't be human anymore? I like Ray but I wonder if there will be real character development for either since Clodan can be incredibly selfish and greedy, the beastly nature is coming through alright, but will this be a devastating end where Clodan is just as lonely because Ray hates him or prentends he doesn't exist, maybe she escapes? Or will she become strong enough to stand up to nonsensical behavior, give him clear ground rules for how he treats her and at least if he lies to everyone else don't lie to her, I want some taming and apologizing.
Some questions for those who have read...
I skipped ahead before reading all the way through and it seems like she gets along with some of the guys depicted on the cover, but this (as much as I'd like it too) may not ever be a reverse harem. Or it may take a super long time? Does this have a single LI? Is there good plot and development?
idk whether this is going to be true reverse harem with poly relationship which is rare. usually i will just assume everyone in the cover are prospect ml but there will be only one true ml in the end, until proven wrong.
the recent plot is kinda heavy that i cant even think of romance; i honestly just want female lead and her allies to be safe :')
if you skip ahead, well the female lead officially married one of the male lead however they haven't been intimate and the current situation doesn't seem like they will. but they seem really care for each other with possibility of love. however my guts saying the general probably not the main male lead.
then there is the small bodyguard. i suspect he will be one of the strong contender for male lead once he regained his previous form and memory.
the brother probably not the main male lead. i mean they literally blood related. although the bro seems to have crush towards her, nah not happening. i cant imagine she will like him back, or more i cant imagine the censorship will allow it.
another male in the cover is the antagonistic prince. it will be difficult to completely overturn their relationship to be a good one. surely it will take a very long time for it to happen.
lastly it's possible that this story will focus on plot and the romance will be vague in the end that she probably won't choose anyone. if that the case, the fact she did married the general, then probably you can say the general is winning. well hopefully he won't die in the future.

I didn’t think er mao had another form but I do love that guy, the general is nice and I didn’t expect such bad things to happen to him. I was just wondering why in the later chapters there’s no mention of the prince’s relationship meter which was at -10 because of er mao, I thought it was important for the FL to win over all the MLs.
i probably mixed up my memories, i just remembered there are flashes of er mao's past and probably just assumed since he lost his memories he probably also lost his power and form. it just weird that a kid like him turned out to be like that. well we will have to see later.
yeah i kinda remember that's true the mc have to win over all of the love interests to survive but i still doubt of true harem end. i dont mind if that's the case tho. i only remember two webtoons with true reverse harem and they left an impression to me, even then i can still see female lead has a favorite or author does. so does it still count as true harem end if the favour isn't spread evenly?
just wait till it's revealed that the brother is not related to her lmao. wouldn't be surprised if the story goes this direction.
