The cousin’s mom is a siren. And yknow how sirens are known for their enchanting voice. Perhaps when the cousin tried to sing the melodies her mom gave, it didn’t work. Sooo mayybe she thought that mc is the real daughter…and the fact that priest fell asleep when she sung the song kinda proves how she’s a siren too!! Just a theory
