Yes he tried to manipulate her so that he can she'll stay beside him but not forceful, there's a contract. The fl benefit more on the contract and he just want to be with her all the time. He got jealous a lot but never force her, if she says no he follows it. He is clingy and sweet too.
He is willing to change for her. If there's something that upset her he tries to find way how to improve and correct his wrong doings.
They have good communication so there's not a lot of misunderstanding.

It was good at first but somehow the facing is so fast that I feel like there won't be fun next time. Its interesting that he sells book to spread cultivation but it happens all so fast. And I don't understand why they always do this on this type of manga where everyone that meets the mc for the first time is rude to him then all of a sudden they turn good and friendly with the mc.
He was just selling a book awhile ago and then suddenly here they are fighting with the demons. It just feels lacking but it has potential.
I just want her to erase her feelings and forget about him them he will suffer. I want to see her fall in love with someone else instead. The guy with grey hair is much better
