Omg this situation is so interesting, looking at it morally. Putting aside the cheating, which shouldn’t be a factor in this decision, this is a really interesting scenario.
While Alex does have the right to do whatever with his sperm, making a child with his friends or whatever, he’s ignoring his partner’s hesitation about this choice. A relationship is a partnership first and foremost, whatever major decision an individual makes in a relationship has to have the input of the partner, for it to be a healthy relationship.
This is doubly important involving a child, as presumably Alex will be involved in the child’s life continuously for at least 18 years (his love of children and his interest in doing the procedure, along with the couple implying Alex to be in their child’s life). Cole doesn’t seem to want to have children, which is understandable. People shouldn’t be forced to have children, especially if they’re uncomfortable with the idea of it like Cole is. You can really mess up a kid and an adult’s life that way.
Alex is forcing the issue, and I’m morbidly interested in how this train wreck will end.

This chapter confirms so many theories!
1) Sungyeon remembers his past life and love for Hosik- might explain why he so quickly and strongly falls for Hosik in modern day era. He probably either remembers his past lives and therefor KNOWS Hosik is the one for him (I mean, the boy committed FAST), or he subconsciously knew Hosik was the one who got away and knew he only had one shot at Hosik.
2) Sungyeon is being reborn in his own family again and again! In the past historical era, we see that he lives in a large, distinctive estate, one that’s similar to his modern day estate where he took Hosik to be introduced to his mom (and also get married at). In this most recent 1920s rebirth, we see he’s still living at the same estate! So he’s being reborn in his lineage, over and over again. Wonder if this means Hoyeon is his son with his wife from the first life.
Please don’t let Sungyeon suffer too much! Though I do want to see how his first life ended, and how he dealt with the loss of Hosik. Seems like it wasn’t a nice time, for him to pine so much in his second go at life.
Bruh the pet one is sooo weird. Like my pet is my CHILD, my BABY. I could never think of them in that way, especially in like a span of a month? Like brooo wtfff is this author on?
