If it was shounen ai then it could be a possible misinterpretation since they tend to censors the sexual stuff, but this is Yaoi, so if they show you the sleeping jerk off scene, then theres no chance of misinterpretation lol.
Idk if you are an avid yaoi reader but red flags are kinda just always a thing. Personally, I read yaoi like trying to find gold in a pile of poop as a guilty pleasure. Not to say the morally questionable yaoi’s are bad, but more so when I finally find a real good protagonist/male lead, the satisfaction is a hundred times greater than my frustrations at other yaoi comics ╮(￣▽￣)╭.

no ive read yaoi for years ik abt the red flags but it feels like the trend is shifting from having sa at the beginning of the story to the middle with no context. personally the reason why im more upset with it being in the middle of the story is cuz im already invested in the characters and think they're good people and then they pull whatever bs they do. i rly thought this would be one of those green flag yaois but ig i was wrong.
I also feel quite frustrated with sudden SA scenes happening in the middle when there was no proper buildup/explanation as to why it even happened, though I don’t really like SA happening at the beginning either because it typically ends up making the two people fall in love with one another despite what caused their relationship was severely questionable because it’s giving a message that says: hey if you manage to fuck one another regardless of how it happens you’ll eventually catch feelings for one another! I’ve never been in a relationship so idk if this is like an actual thing, but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with someone who clearly crossed the boundaries.
For me personally this comic gave a good amount of context as to why the SA happened. Basically seme knew he felt something more for uke but couldn’t put words to it, then he saw uke getting hard during sleep which triggered his “possessiveness” of being the only one to see a different side of uke, leading to the seme not being able to resist his sexual urges which brings us to the sleeping jerkoff.
As for your disappointment towards how the story made the reader change their impression on the character, I completely understand. The author really lulled us in by showing the uke’s pov first, where the uke definitely views the seme as a handsome good guy, but then it switches to seme pov and we learn how seme also have sexual desires and is really into the idea of exclusivity of being the only one to know everything about uke, but the way he learned about it was because of the sleeping SA scene. Well regardless of how I feel, at least I’m not surprised because of the amount of yaoi I have read at this point（￣へ￣）.

its been so long since ive read something with such lovable and sweet mcs. i love kagami's slow realization of his feelings, his coquettish teasing, and his straightforwardness. i love seme's unrelenting acceptance and kindness (same goes for his family too) and how he just melts and malfunctions in the uke's presence. despite having some sex scenes it doesnt feel like theyre just horny for each other it genuinely feels like their hearts are connected and they just enjoy being next to each other. i love ts sm. also this lowkey reminds me of that weird ecchi anime Nagatoro-san but like the good version of it yk? i hope that other guy leaves them alone, at the very least it seems like there wont be sa (according to the other commenters). 2 days is too long of a wait i need ts NOWWW
