i personally would say, this artstyle i think is meant to be glanced over quickly. this author i think actually priorities their stories and words/dialogues more than the art.
not saying that they don't CARE, but i think that shows how we should read it.
we should read the text and glance at the art quick enough so that you get the idea of what the image is but not long enough until you realise what the hell is wrong with them bodies.
idk, seeing this artstyle makes me immediately think it's more of a flowy and more lively artstyle. the deformed looking bodies could be served as one of those cursed frames when you pause in an animated movie. it's almost like there's movement if you don't see it as a still art but rather just a really flowy story.
basically what im saying, look at the drawings with the pace that you are reading. don't stare for too long after you finish reading the dialogue because boi howdy do things start to just jump out at you

akari as a friend is looking out for these boys but i feel like at the same time, he should be able to sense that this is the wrong direction and that where their relationship is going ISN'T like what he experienced. though, it is hard to admit that, but i hope he can see that instead of encouraging distance...
but i also hope akari too will find someone who is able to love him back and help him recover from that trauma TwT
I JUST WANNA TALK
