I wanted to like this but I couldn’t. I mean the plot and story was good and interesting but the age gap and power dynamic made me drop it.i tried to ignore it but couldn’t I mean the mc was FRESHLY 18, even worse they fucked on the same night he turned 18. I saw comments talking about the Vince wasn’t over yoen and about how his soul is now intertwined with arrie i had doubts about liking this story but i completely disagreed
It looked like Vince liked Arrie before he had any idea of the situation, and I don’t think he ever actually knew that their souls were intertwined. I actually found it really sweet and sad knowing a part of yoens soul went in arries because it felt like he was putting arrie first just like he did when he was alive (being in denial about his love for Vance) Yoen obviously cared and loved arrie even with how his parents treated him and I feel heartbroken that he never got a happy ending or closure and instead just died thinking Vance didn’t care if he lived or died and feeling guilty for liking him while knowing arrie liked him.
Wasn’t the worst thing I’ve read but definitely wasn’t good or the best, it was just really fucking weird, especially at the end when the dads also got pregnant like bro please your over retirement age and kind of just messed up your kids relationship(obviously not on purpose but still) a bit why did you have to make it worse
And when the son got turned on watching his dad having sex I was so weirded out, I thought it was super unnecessary but idk
I never really liked the step-sibling/adopted trope so I can’t really complain since it wasn’t out of character and they made it clear since the beginning it was going to be a weird step sibling family situation and it’s lowkey on me for continuing reading it but idk i feel like they should have let the dad couple without a kid together

Dropped it halfway, things were advancing too fast. It felt like the MC felt harassed and uncomfortable by the ML (you could tell by how relieved and relaxed he was when ml wouldn’t stop by)and then just randomly started liking him which felt weird. The ML also coerced the MC to do sexual stuff for his reviews which felt so weird??
Tbh the mc has more chemistry with his friend than the ml
I LOVE plot focused BL. I like how it’s equally focused on the romance and the plot (aka being stuck in the horror game) and the story isn’t predictable and and detailed. This is the first yaoi that I’ve been eager to finish in a while since I usually wait for stories to be completed.
Why did they have to ruin it with .I was actually really enjoying the story too, it could have been on my top 10 if not for that. I’m so sick of authors always adding grape to their stories. The plot wouldn’t have changed if there was no rape it feels like these authors just have grape fetishes and it’s disgusting especially since they drew it in full detail and even blood. I mean it’s so out of character as well and it was the last thing I expected from him. there were so many different ways the author could have gone about it and they chose that?!

everyone was talking about the rape scene but didn't really add any context to it so thank you for writing this cuz I think I'm gonna skip reading this story. I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it or not but now that I know the scene was so out of pocket in regards to the characters and unnecessary I ain't reading this just to get disappointed
Yeah I don’t recommend reading it, the ML comes off as more of “crybaby top” and kind of innocent and naive the whole story (like he seemed completely head over heels for MC and like a huge green flag) he was like jigu from gmnd(if you’ve read it)
He basically found out MC was using him and decided to r*pe him as revenge?? He could have done ANYTHING other than that, it’s just so disappointing considering how good the art and characters were at first:(
Absolute garbage tried reading it and immediately dropped it(read half of first chap then skimmed through ending)The whole plot is Alpha cheats on beta boyfriend because he “couldn’t” resist omega pheromones(it’s even worse because he acted so devoted to his boyfriend and kept yapping about how much he loved him and it didn’t matter that he wasn’t an omega). Turns out the omega was his boyfriend’s dad but he still ends up marrying his now ex boyfriends dad and even has a kid, now he’s trying to act like his dad with no remorse what so ever.
(Apparently the beta also cheated but I feel like that’s just the author trying to make the alpha more likeable)
