Chapter 73 spoilers: https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangatopic/14721326/

JH takes his seat and asks YO if he's had dinner. YO says yes and points out that JH has been habitually asking him that. JH says he's heard about YO constantly skipping meals (much to his frustration, obviously), hence...
JH then asks what it was that captured YO's attention as he had been intently looking out the window just now. YO mentions the play he wanted to watch, which he believed to be over as its banners were already being t@ken down. JH asks if YO wishes to perf0rm in theater as well. YO answers that he simply wants to learn more about acting.
A server arrives and sets several sIices of cake on the table, astonishing YO. JH comments that YO seems to have enjoyed it previously. YO, stunned by JH's words, says he didn't even particularly want one that time (this was the Christmas they spent together). JH says YO doesn't have to force himself then, but YO breaks a piece of his cake anyways. He doesn't seem to be eating, though. JH, too, doesn't touch his.
YO broaches the study tour his brother was offered and adds that his grandmother has also been moved to another (and presumably, a much better) hospital room. He asks if they were JH's doing, to which JH indirectly confirms by saying that he himself is responsible for YO's father's death after all.
YO thanks JH for the favors. He says he'd been too busy of late that he's had very little time to spare for his family. JH says he's only a call away should YO need anything else, but YO corrects him by stating that while's he's grateful, YO is not going to ask for more than he's already received. He then empties his cup of coffee, which, to JH, probably heralds the end of their meeting.

[It is revealed that the cafe they went to just now is at the very hotel where JH initiated sex with YO for the first time. The very same hotel where YO handed the USB over and concluded his painful relationship with JH.]
YO has now gone incognito as they head down. They are joined by another pair in the elevator. The guy, unaware of JH's presence, runs his mouth about the Kwon family: Haekang's origin, JH's father's countless affairs and remarriage after the wife's death, JH's grandfather's disapproval of JH's mom, how JH's mom must have turned a blind eye to her husband's infidelity in order to get more alimony.
His companion brings up the suspicions over the wife's death. Rumor has it that it wasn't an acccident, but the guy (who brags about having a journalist friend) doesn't seem convinced, claiming contract kiIIing doesn't happen in Korea.
And what of JH? Didn't he rise up against them when he returned from overseas?
YO is shocked to have heard all these and checks on JH, who looks nonchalant.

The silence is deafening in the car until JH breaks it.
"Does it bother you?"
YO turns in surprise. JH says he's noticed how YO keeps looking over to him. YO reluctantly questions JH's indifference to people carelessly gossiping about his family. He faces the other way again, probably not expecting an answer, so, JH surprises YO by saying they were pretty accurate facts anyway, except he wasn't aware the public had taken interest.
JH spills more by revealing himself to be the reason for why his father walked all over his marriage and all over his mother. Much as JH cannot bear to part with her, he also wasn't ready to abandon the privileged life he grew up in, so, JH begged his mother to stay. Thanks to his childish wilfulness, his mother sat on her hands and suffered the consequences.
YO listens attentively, but doesn't say anything. Silence fills the car once again and JH decides to pull over. He asks if YO's still fretting over the things he's discovered today........and would he care to stay a little bit longer?
-end-
I can understand why Jaehyuk won't stop until he destroys his grandfather's legacy and avenges his mom, because he's the reason she stayed which ultimately cost her her life. He can't live the guilt. Considering his male role models are his grandfather and father, Jaehyuk isn't as terrible as he could be but the bar for men in this manhwa is in hell. He could have gone on with his life enjoying his wealth and privilege after she was murdered but he dedicated his entire adult life to getting justice for his mom. Jaehyuk doesn't know how to love someone, doesn't know how to be a good man but he does seem to want to be better than the men in his family. He can't stand that Yeon Oh suffered because of him, tbh he's already better than 98% of BL MLs at this point because the bar is ridiculously low, usually the story finishes with a happily ever after without the ML acknowledging and making up for the terrible things they've done to the MC. I just read profundis, and the MLs are all psychopaths, MC ends up with the man who made him into a sex slave with zero remorse from beginning to end... I don't think Jaehyuk is responsible for Yeon Oh's dad getting murdered, Yeon Oh's dad got himself killed trying to blackmail his former employer. What's his grandfather going do to Yeon Oh when he finds out their relationship is not a charade to embarrass the Kwon name anymore? Probably kill him.
as much as I love the uncensored dicks and all, I prefer we get to the story now. I've seen enough of them fucking. Ehehehehehe..please?
Yeah, I kinda understand your feelings but still that's the best time they did it (consent and Nok's finally enjoys it ;)) However when there's only one short chapter per week and we have to wait for actually 2-3 weeks for the story to move... there's a little wanting for more.
You need to wait cause the next chapter is also hot-sex-scene. But then from 51 to at least 56 (and it doesn't really look like in 57 anything's gonna change) there will be only the story :))
If this were the YO from before, he'd be blushing all over by JH's words, but, nah. He reiterates that JH wait for his decision. JH is chastened and says he isn't pressing YO to rush. YO scoffs in response, saying JH has always been like this. That he just does whatever he wants regardless of what the agreement is. YO then decides to acquiesce to JH's terms, saying it'll do him good to end things without having regrets. JH listens in silence and solemnly thanks YO for accepting.
YO starts on his food. He now feels awkward by his frosty behavior and all the more by JH just running the gauntlet. Sensing his discomfort, JH gets up and offers to leave. YO objects and says JH can go when he's finished his meal, since that has been what the impromptu lunch was about: for them to have it together. JH relents and sits back down.
***
YO finds a large package waiting for him when he gets home. It's the painting that JH bought for him. It comes with a letter saying that JH hopes YO doesn't return it as it was a gift. Also enclosed is the keycard to the place they used to meet up. JH says YO is free to make use of it and he can count on him not disturbing YO.
Also, YO's brother has been offered by Haekang Foundation to study a foreign language overseas. It's a 3-month study tour and he's free to choose between UK, Canada, or Australia. Everything will be paid for by Haekang and little brother is raring to go (his excuse being that he's never been on a plane ¬_¬). He begs for YO's permission, but the latter says he will look into it first.

At long fucking last, the loanshark is dead. We don't see him, actually, but we're shown a drum that supposedly contains his body. After bidding him good bye, JH's men throws him into the sea.
Y'all can now stop shipping him with Ko Seokyong.
***
Meeting 1 of 3 has come and we find YO sitting by a large window as he waits for JH. JH (looking annoyingly hot and all) arrives and asks if YO's been waiting long. YO says that he, too, just got there.
-end-
I didn't know we'd be greeted by yet another hiatus. Huhu. And for 2 weeks, I think?
Anyways, can't help but notice that JH looks pleased when he sees YO by the end of the chapter.
I wonder why the author is temporarily taking the brother out of the picture. Hehe.
Will third meeting fall on Valentine's Day? It's still February, right? JH, you sly dog.
And why offer their old love nest to YO??
And what of Ko Seokyong, dammit?!
And how goes the trial, Kwon?
Jaehyuk wishes he could go back to what they had before. Think he's trying to remind Yeon Oh of the good memories they had before he fucked up and treated him badly. The painting, the keycard to the apartment, the foreign exchange tour for his brother, this time he's "doing what he can" because he's sorry. I'm surprised Jaehyuk went that far for Yeon Oh tbh, because it's murder this time. The loan shark deserved it. It's true that Jaehyuk can't make up for raping Yeon Oh, but this does redeem him a bit in my eyes, he's willing to kill to protect Yeon Oh which means risking going to prison. He's lived a very privileged life and I didn't think he would risk that, I thought his men would turn the loan shark into the police. He permanently got rid of someone who's been abusing and harming Yeon Oh since he was a teenager. He's trying to make up for what he did by making Yeon Oh's life easier. I like Jaehyuk's change in demeanor, he's not pretending to be a savior anymore after watching that video, Yeon Oh calls him out for doing whatever he wants and he accepts that criticism as true instead of gaslighting him. I think he's aware that he loves Yeon Oh after all he's willing to kill for him and everything he's done for him after getting the USB but he knows that Yeon Oh is likely to reject him now if he tells him how he feels. "I wanted to see you" is the most honest thing Jaehyuk has said about what he feels.
Ohhh, I love this. <3 I hope their meetings will be spent meaningfully. By the way, Facebook suggested this page to me : https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552327883621
Sadly, it's in Vietnamese. The page likes to discuss about this series. <3
I wish YO would just sit there and leave his food untouched. He'd give JH a bored stare and say, "Well, now, you've seen me," then grab his coat and get up to leave. JH would then scramble to make YO stay. Ahahahaha. Or something like that. I think he should start by addressing what took place in the last 5 chapters of season 2.

....and there still doesn't seem to be any BL shit going on between our two main characters, but I'm fucking invested. #44 has got me worried, though. Mr. Sir was just beginning to thaw dammit!! T_T
Someone said they finally get together at the end and the side story is abt their relationship
WHAT. That's a really really slow burn romance ⊙﹏⊙
don't you just love torturing yourself with slow burn also super slow because i have to wait every week for this shit that makes me keep going
