Pretty sure the three 'sisters' is a Chinese translation artifact since they have different parents.... well different fathers for sure. Hell, they could all have the same mother as far as I can tell in the manga. The Chinese use 'sister' and 'brother' references often with non blood related people. It's a cultural thing indicating status.
