It was cute but it was also meh. The whole thing with hiro was just...just so stupid. And the whole thing at the end is when it really fell apart. The ending just made me indifferent. Good read to just pass the boredom and fill with slight fluff.
I like the manga, it's okay, it's not the worst or the best, just okay. I feel though this could have been a great manga. The pacing is rushed, and the execution of the scenes could have been handled better. This would have done wonderfully as a slow burn type. Fleshed out motivations, a growing understanding, the beta not telling his life story when he first meets the omega. A push and pull relationship between alpha and omega. Falling to their instinct and fighting their feelings, and through small hints of development a growing respect, or love for each other. It's fast paced, and the poor direction and editing that led this manga from being good to a mediorcre one. And that's not wrong or bad just disappointing. Unfortunately many fall into this category because of these issues. I just want a great omega story, with mutual understanding and growing feelings/fighting against an animal instict in the pursuit of love with splashes of smut. Why does this seem unreachable. Sorry, for the long comment after reading so many yaoi and smut mangas its difficult to find one that's balanced especially omega ones with steamy scenes and good plot. These are just my opinion and I mean no disrespect to anyone who has differing feelings.
And in a blink of an eye it was already over. I feel like so much was condensed in one chapter that I only read 5 pages but no there were more pages. It felt jumpy but I got the jist of the story towards the end. Plus, the art isnt super so I was thrown off a bit. I wouldn't recommend. Its not awful but its not good either. Very forgettable. Read it if you're bored or just want to say you read it.
Sometimes the line work and added texture look great, gives me a real intense and kinda hot vibe and other times, like the rifle as an example, it looks like someone slapped it on in ms paint and redrew over certain scenes with the line work being a bit messy. Other times it's a mishmash of the good and the bad that I'm a little put off. I can pick out the good parts and appreciate them but the others throw me off. Idk how to feel tbh. one moment I could really respect is the differing views showcased especially when his first thought of the pheasant was to shoot it and he did and hers was that it was beautiful and now a shame its dead. She had no thought besides tasty when she ate the dessert and liked it with the bear fat but now that she's seen a creature killed in front of her she's having second thoughts. He on the other hand just thinks of it as food and no fault to him for that but at the same time he respects the kill by praying or thanking his hunt and really brings out their true flavor and potential in a dish he creates honoring them. A nice touch to that part in details, at least for a smut manga. Again sorry. （/TДT)/
