I finished the novel and the shounen ai tag isn’t there for no reason. I swear at the start this looked pretty simple (to me at least) I didn’t see anything special about it or why it would be a bl and reading the novel, it’s really plot heavy.
But it’s so satisfying in the end I have no regrets not sleeping. Although my only complaint is that the manhwa doesn’t capture the novel all that well it misses details I thought were pretty important (not the artists fault they’re very overworked.)
I can’t recommend reading the novel enough to people who don’t mind weak to strong mcs with interesting plot and lovable characters. ( also it’s very realistic imo for an mc who was thrown into this against his will.)

EDIT: THE MANHWAS PACING GETS WORSE. I saw the raws after commenting this and omg.. the Korean comments weren’t happy either.. I can’t blame the artists tho but I’m super sad that the manhwa will let people assume the story sucks when the novel is actually so good ahh damn it ╥﹏╥

I think the Manhwa was just about 70 something but that probably will end up rushed in the end.
37 chapters and 4 side stories but the chapters are long so it’s not as short as it looks !
