In the page with the flowers when they got ruined the prime minister literary said what a shame they were beuatiful flowers, and the reason they were not given to the emperor is because they got ruined, and she didn't even hear him and got depressed because she thought he didn't like the flowers and that the flowers themselfs weren't enough???? I mean he ordered them and said that it's a shame they got ruined cuz they were beuatiful ... come on lady you shouldn't jump to conclusions

I reread it and saw it yes, but still the flowers had fallen to the ground so it's understandable why they were not delivered to the emperor and in the next page she asks herself what kind of flowers whould fit the emperor ... I mean they just said so in the previous page flowers that hasn't FALLEN ON THE GROUND ARE HAVE BEEN RUINED IT'S NOT HARD TO UNDERSTAND and she doesn't even think of it like what???

It's a emperor.... if you gave ruined flowers to a emperor that whould be wery disrespectful... you realize that right? It's the same if you gave him a smashed cake it whould taste good but it whouldnt look nice and he is the emperor... the highest position, he has to look good and set an example.... if royalty didn't care about aperence oh boy that whould be new

But the flowers falling to the ground wasn't what caused the damage... it's the dude that stomped over them. Flowers simply falling onto the ground isn't an issue. It's like you guys are missing a huge part of this scene that you're talking about. If you go back and re-read the whole chapter you will notice that the rude royal dude only stepped on a maximum of three flowers. The bouquet is way bigger than any of the ladies heads and there are obviously many flowers in it. So the obvious solution is to simply take the three damaged flowers out. No one would notice since there are so many of them.
So the issue isn't that the flowers were damaged. We already know that was an easy fix. The issue was that the flowers, plants that grow from the ground landed on a clean palace floor. And I mean like, that doesn't make much sense. Does it? Anyone who refused something as simple as flowers like that for such a reason must be overthinking a lot of things and isn't that just unreasonable at that level?

Ok so basically the followers falling was simply and excuse. Nobles are not to have anything but the best that they can afford around them, because what they wear, what they have decorating their house, shows status. There for something like flowers, cheap and basically free is you pick them on your own, is not suitable for the richest most powerful person in the kingdom.

No, because when you get a cake you intend to eat it so even if it fell to the floor and you managed to somehow fix it to make it look the same as before. When you will eat it there will be dust and dirt in it. Plus you can solve the flower issue by taking the damaged ones out, you can't solve the cake issue...

I honestly agree with the original point. She is overthinking things for no reason, making assumptions, etc. The thing that I'm having an issue with is people saying that flowers simply falling onto the ground will be damaged and ignoring the fact that one of the royals stepped on the flowers and damaged them. Yes, it's a technicality but it is, in fact, important because for all I know you guys might be going about your lives and casually throwing flowers out if you drop them.

Look there are different kinds of flowers, there are the ones in pots and then there is the ones in the vases in water, if you drop one thats supposed to go in dirt I'll throw it cuz it's hard to replant bit if it's one in a vase and it looks fine after dropping it then I'll put it back but this isn't about us we aren't nobles in an old European looking country we are normal people, royalty in that time focuses a lot on status so they have elegant clothing big castles and mansions and so on and so on so of course they will want to have perfect flowers that aren't dusty or stepped on and she didn't even think of that

Yes but we are not talking about those kinds of flowers and even if that was the case, you could replace the pot/vase.
Flowers won't get dusty by falling onto a clean floor.
They may focus a lot on status but this is really crossing the line. I do agree that she didn't fix the issue. My problem here is that you guys are not making the distinction. You speak as thought the issue is that they fell when the issue is that they got stomped over. My issue is not that they didn't take them. It's that you guys are saying that they didn't take them because they fell.

I fully agree with you about this. Plus you know when the guy invited her, he basically did so to humiliate her. Because of his position she had no choice but to go and since she is a fallen royal and is now poor, it's obvious that she wouldn't have anything to wear.
Do you think that the guy that invited her knows that the prince is/will be into the flower girl?
This is just like dark souls but with anime girls(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
