I've lived in the deep south my whole life.
Grew up around ranches, rodeos and a good portion of my family were bullriders.
I can't tell what time period this is supposed to take place in lol the clothes, furniture and even how the characters style their hair is just throwing me tf off.
I guess it's technically sci-fi so I shouldn't care, but I do lol

It'd be one thing if this was supposed to be a strange west/spaghetti western type plot, but it just feels like what someone who has never seen a rodeo would think the Wild West would look like.
It doesn't even feel like it's from the 60s. I live with my grandparents and that's only a decade off from when my mom was born lol
I just finished rereading Dead or Alive by Iago and that was truer to what this is deriving inspo from.

How people tend to either rationalize or crash out when they discover that their faves have drawn controversial works in the past/present lol
Like, sure, some mangaka do it to pay the bills, but those solo indie lolisho works? That's for the love of the game and you're just either gonna have to accept it or move on.

To a chick in a same sex relationship ya'll would be calling him all sorts of names lol
She has 0 grounds for all that confidence and is literally praying that their love will fail just so she can date him on a whim. She doesn't even LIKE him, he just so happens to apparently be her type so now she's being slimey af.
That is not a "girlboss" that is a homewrecker lol
I MISS IT SO MUCH Q//Q
