Does anyone know what name this anime is? If iirc, the main character was a guy with black hair and had a dark aesthetic. The genre was a mix of historical, fantasy, adventure, and action. The general summary of the story is that there are 9 ppl with powers and they have to group together to suppress the one person who has a dark power out of the 9. And there was this one girl with aqua colored hair who is the person with the dark power (which came as a surprise to everyone in the group since shes kinda ditzy and weak?) and everyone thought the main guy had the dark power but it turns out the girl had it. They thought the girl had the light power in the group. They were wearing historical japanese clothing and kimono type clothes. Im trying to find it cause I enjoyed listening to one of its ending songs. Its not a recent anime at all too. I’d say maybe a 2013 or older anime.

I didnt read the sypnosis before reading this so I was really hoping she was gonna turn out to have been the type of character who “took up” the cowardly persona as a way of hiding her real messed up nature Something in the way she spaced out and her facial expressions in the beginning of the first chapter made it seem like she genuinely didnt give a fck about her sister’s harassing her, and was just biding her time before she could plot some revenge. Or if not that then I was hoping it was something like she was cursed to be cowardly and was actually a psychopathic sadist on the inside. I wish she would have left or something because the history between the two is too much to just sweep under the rug and get past. For me, I genuinely don’t think there’s a type of love strong enough to sweep everything that happened under the rug and continue to be with someone who hurt me that bad. Genuinely, the only reason that I can think of that’s enough to justify them choosing to be together in the end, is that they had an obsession with each other and their past together.

Im also so damn frustrated by how trusting the mc can be to the point where his life is put in danger. To be fair, if the people around him weren’t messed up criminals or psychopaths, he wouldnt be in danger but of course in the real world, you gotta be careful of being too trusting. Its a shame that the mc lives in an environment that is surrounded by people who are more than eager to ruin his life. Im almost convinced that the author is making him suffer all of this because theyre trying to make a point about trust and how far it can drag you down in life. But i thought that at this point, they’d give the mc some character development given how much he’s suffered (and as much as im tempted to say that a lot of his suffering was his own fault, that would be victim blaming imo because if the ppl around him weren’t assholes he wouldnt be in these messes anyway). Legitimately, there are so many things and misunderstandings that could be solved if he could communicate even a single ounce of what his intentions and thoughts are. Hes always putting off conversations with hae soo which keeps making the situation worse than it already is for someone who needs hella therapy like hae soo. It cant be that hard to be honest about not being in love with hae soos mom to just clear the air since that seems to be the main thing thats setting hae soo off about him knowing his mom. Like seriously? Also, with the recent chapter released, it seems like the uke has a track record of not being able to productively communicate his intentions and thoughts to others since he didnt seem all that happy to quit archery and become a lawyer in the flashback that we got. It seemed like he wanted to say more and continue with archery but didn’t because his foster mom (?) was going against it.
I dont see how hes gonna somehow develop into a likeable character anytime soon.
