Right I just want my first couple backs

I think when you consider the story and plot where he’s in a manipulative and toxic relationship with the his first love’s brother and he’s constantly feeling guilty I think it somewhat fits that the brother comes when he’s finally gonna be happy in life and ruin it, is rape necessary ofc not but the brother isn’t a good person and you can see from previous actions that, that’s how he first takes advantage of him while also telling him it’s his fault his brother died and that he’s worthless. Compared to other BLs where the the main character is raped by the other main character and they forgive them and live happily ever after, this one fits in more with the background story of the main character and what they deal and dealt with

I’m not normalizing, the idea of rape it’s disgusting and I hate when BLs randomly add it and it and it has no significance to the plot or any background story, it’s extremely uncomfortable, unnecessary and stupid. What I’m saying is compared to other BLs which add it because it’s so normalized, this has a story behind it, obviously I hate the fact the main character was raped but it wasn’t far off because of who did it to him. Just like in a straight couple manga if this were to happen to a girl and it followed the same story line I would hate it but there’s a story behind it and also fresh to see that the character doesn’t find “happiness “ with their raper and just forgives them. There’s built up trauma and an unfortunate story. You don’t have to agree with me I just responded as some other comments were also coming for the author and yours was the most recent at the time talking about the same topic. I don’t believe the author should get hate unless this is a common event they add in their mangas or stories then there’s a obvious fetishization
