Everyone's too busy complaining about Brian to notice the fundamental character growth that Sol has undergone. The author has done a fantastic job in showing the formative experiences that have actually led to organic character growth in a way that I haven't seen in any other webcomic.

man sometimes im sad that all the comments are about how long it is/bring back the present/the plot is dragging not about the current content of the story, i miss discussing actual plot with people, reading fruitful comments and not all complaining but ig im just so used to stories with slow pacing, long flashbacks (mxtx fan) unlike the majority
soleite really did a lot for brian, love men who goes crazyyy when it comes to sacrificing, gave me the chills when he said he could no longer fly when most chaps are him carrying brian by the waist in the sky
i was really okay with the age gap since they started the romantic/sexual/whatnot relationship when the mc was adult, the repulsive part is just that when ml imagined the mc (AS A CHILDDDD) while doing it with the girl, my jaw dropped lmao
