The asshole is a guy or a girl?

A guy. And even without being able to read what he says. He looks like a coplete dick. I can imagine he did something really nasty!

I got confused because that character looks the same as gyoon. Like, everyone was making a scary face so I assumed it was him. Do you have a guess what he did to yohan? Because I have no clue. The jerk is the reason for yohan's deafness right?

I'm guessing it's his sister, maybe.
I'm pretty sure the series is going on a break. So they introduced the "asshole" because the 2nd season will focus on the back story.
In Chapter 3 (page 2), when Gyoon is explaining about Yohan, there is a flashback:
- Picture 1: a broken pot and dirt (so a potted plant was broken).
- Picture 2: if you focus on the left upper corner, you will see blood and someone's head. It's really hard to see cause it's almost the same, dark colour.
My guess is, he smashed the pot on Yohan's head and he was bleeding. So maybe the head injury is what caused the deafness.

Also doesn't the "asshole" look like the guy in Yohan's flashback from chapter seven?

I keep switching back and forth the pages. His hair is parted in a different way, but I think you are right.

I'm having a wild idea here but...
Is it possible that the "asshole" is blind?
I mean he is wearing dark glasses, he randomly tries to touch blondie's face and when he takes the glasses off his eyes are entirely white and all (no iris and no pupil)...
It might be the real reason why the flashback in chapter 7 didn't show his eyes.

Well, either that or he has the meanest looking eyes in yaoi history.

I think he wears glasses cause he is too cool for school :D
I'm kind of, sort of trying to translate it. So far I only managed to figure out, that the lady in the beginning is...*spoiler*






Gyoon's mother. Something about: having a baby very young, not a big age difference, manager of a K Group. But this is not 100%, I'm just fooling around with a camera translator. It's just that my curiosity got the best of me. So don't quote me on that.

We’ve already seen this asshole before in the chapter where Soohwa goes to Yohan’s apartment for the first time to learn sign language. Yohan has a flashback of the asshole and we can see the Yohan and can hear and doesn’t have glasses. I suspect that the “accident” Yohan had, involves the asshole and that’s how he lost his hearing and and possibly why he also had glasses

i mostly skimmed but youre right, the lady is his mother and she's the president/CEO of k group company. something about a son and "he's already landed at the airport by now"

gyoon wants the woman to leave, but she says she won't stay for long. gyoon tells soohwa that the woman is his mother and the president of famous k group. she had gyoon at a young age and so doesn't like him much, and came to the cafe to warn yohan of something. gyoon says the one who caused yohan to be the way he is now is his mother's other son/his younger brother.
gyoon's mother says she's come to the cafe with a sense of responsibility to protect him since she sees him as a son as well. yohan says he'd rather she not say that and he doesn't need it.
as she leaves, gyoon tells her she shouldn't come back to the cafe, and to tell her son next month also when he returns to korea.
she says "department head so (namu) didn't tell you? that child's returning today. he's already arrived at the airport around now"
scene change to gyoon's brother who's arrived at the airport and namu's there to pick him up. he's basically just complaining then starts talking about himself sarcastically, "the guy that everyone hates is back, why did this guy who fell to hell come back" and the last dramatic lines are "i don't want to let everyone down, so wouldn't they be satisfied if i just become as worst a lunatic as i want?"

So maybe he is a half-brother to Gyoon? So that's why he is so protective of Yohan, he feels responsible for what happened.
I'm sure the second season will be so interesting. A lot of back story.

I wanted to slap him and said make up your damn mind! have some balls or grow a pair man! and now he's involved in similar relationship. Idk if he's just do sex for the sake of sex kind of man. I dont like that kind of relationship. I could not possibly like edo after reading strong and decisive character like misha,calo, diego,gian and ilya.

Gyoon was "upset" at the start of the chapter like "Explain me what is this mess ?" because in the morning he got a call from Yohan saying that they will be closed today because Soohwa is..."sick" *insert lenny face*

So after the call Gyoon was worried that Soohwa would take his meds without eating anything and all so he came to Yohan's house with food only go get that "last night was intense". He tells Soohwa to stop faking to be asleep and all, Soohwa wonder how he knew and all, etc etc...

Then after that Gyoon ask Soohwa since when they were going out, but Soohwa was like "Nah, it's not like that, it's only for our needs." and all (Gyoon makes the best face of all the chapter after that lol)

And at last, when he is in front of the shop with Yohan, Gyoon is kinda "I know it's not my problem but do you love him ?" and all.
He got a bit upset for an "unknown reason" but we can guess that it may be linked with a former friend(/boyfriend?) jerk of Yohan that we saw in flashback in a former chapter.
And before it ends Gyoon told him that Soohwa is a nice guy so that if he likes him he shouldn't let him go and all.

I was thinking something like that. I mean Gyoon is just over protective of Yohan and doesn't want him to get hurt.

Me too, I'm waiting to find out what happened to Yohan. Since Gyoon said he had an accident, that's why he lost his hearing.
And also what that scumbag did to him. But he has Soohwa now and he is nice. Together with Gyoon they will take care of Yohan :)
