those complaining about the characters, if you haven't read "if you hate me so much" you really need too! She changed them quite a bit sure but her goal was to continue their story, and in my opinion I see the same Hyseung and Dojin in their personalities. I just really think it will give a better understanding.

True but you'd expect the author to possibly change things up the second round. Not only that but I'm sure other readers have complained or mentioned the pacing on his previous work. If he took that into consideration, which he doesn't have to, then this wouldn't be so slow. I think the biggest problem and possibly the only problem is the pacing. The author doesn't like to finish ONE scene in one chapter but rather in THREE chapters with not much dialogue or progress. Which makes his claim that it'll be 100 chapter or about that range, practically terrifying. He'd drag it out more and more and we'll end up with 2 chapters worth of "happy ending", which in my opinion isn't satisfying or good writing.
Because there are a lot of people who haven't read Guang Xiang and I'm one of them. Slow burn is good but too slow becomes irritating, just like Hidamari ga Kikoeru.
I kindly disagree. I think this method of approach in writing is superior than a "quick fuck" with superficial characters and obstacles that they face. I know that this doesn't always happen in comics, but the majority of the BL genre is meant for pure fetishization and sexulization in the gay pairings. They use the same tropes and archetypes and it gets pretty repetitive. I think this form of writing is new and fresh and what most BL readers need nowadays to remember that not all gay men jump into relationships and everythings rainbows and unicorns. Many may claim that BL comic are meant for visual and psychological satisfaction and I even may agree to that, which kinda sucks bc it provides an unrealistic display of gay men and gay relationships in general. I'm sure Djun is aware of the slow pacing but he does it on purpose bc (apart from the strict LGBT laws in China) that is what he wants to do.
Like, I would understand the frustration in readers more if this consistently happened within the BL genre but the truth of the matter is that this, in fact, does not happen at all. Organic pacing and authentic character personalities is cherished in this BL and that is what makes it well known. I don't see the "slow pacing" as a negative denominator, I see it as a positive growth aspect that most comics do not have and most authors aren't talented enough in story building to manufacture.

And THEN whoosh~~~~~ hyesungs pheromones hit dojin’s nose and he’s like “you!!!” And hyseung was like “ah! How did you know?!?” And Dojin says “your smell you idiot!.. you wait right there!” As he chases him. then you see byul bounce and get dizzy and then he cries from all of the running and Dojin says “byul..I’m sorry... daddy’s sorry” and hyseung just stops after hearing byuls name. Then it shows him and heeso getting scolded and hyseung looks at byeul at home and holds him, then buyel tries to breastfeed cause he can smell the pheromones
Then hyseung gets scared and he slips and Dojin catches him and Dojin and hyseung stare at each other. This makes hyseung depressed (he loves byul in his heart so he feels bad for dropping him) and Dojin sits on the bed with him after he sees that hyseung is depressed in bed
