I knew our work was being stolen, my comrades from Korea primarily....but we all read free work..sooo saying something would make me a hyprocrite. HOWEVER, am I really seeing someone complain about someone stealing their work that was made to be stolen?
It's one thing to quietly post work....(as I said even creators read work on here for inspiration then when we get paid we support the author) but god damn at least our work is still being appreciated!!!! Do you realize how disrespectful you are being complaining like this? I am about to have a mental break trying to get this next comic out and go head to head with artists all over the world and I get on here to see someone complain about people stealing "THEIR" work.

I would just like to clear somethings up. The translator never got mad. They were sad that this happened and simply asked if we could report it so it would get taken down. They explained the reason for wanting it to be taken down is because they feared legal action could be taken against them, which did happen in a form of a cease and desist letter, to which the translator did comply which is why they are stopping. I would like to say that it was people on both sides who went way out of hand (I probably did as well, I don't think I called anyone names but I do think I got petty). I do regret that this happened but what is done is done. I'm just going to what I usually do which is save my money to support the author. Hope you don't get mad by my response.

If there was a Cease and Desist letter, then the translator uploading their work on tumblr would likely have been problematic yet too. Yet all of these people flooded the comments to tell people to read on tumblr, and not mangago and the controversy with donations was brought up (as people should be supporting the author instead). It seems the front page has been littered with all these drama comments for quite, so bystanders like myself are adding their two cents.
Yes we (me included) were linking to the tumblr but that was before the cease and desist letter. After that I stopped because I knew the translator was dropping it anyway. Also the tumblr account is now gone, don't know when but the links no longer work (maybe it was a problem but I don't know). Yes people should support the author, I do as soon as the latest chapter comes out. After calming down I do realize that both side went overboard but I really don't like that people are making false clams about the translator. While people were throwing insults and name calling at no point did they get mad or judge people for using this site. The just asked if it could be taken down and told their reason why the wish for that. Even when people insulted them they wouldn't fire back in the same way. Their replies were always polite. I just wish the rest of us had remained the same (me included ╥﹏╥) I will just learn from this experience and hope I never behave so again.

Her translations were better, and looked more professional than the official.
TappyToon is months behind her translations.
I would have bought them if they weren't so behind. I don't have with spending money on translations, but the translations on TappyToon had spelling and spacing errors, and sounded a bit too flowery.
