Lol I think it’s funny how the roles reverse every time. I think many readers just don’t like 1st leads/main leads. In other stories you have a toxic ML and everyone is rooting for the nice guy 2nd lead. Now that we have a nice guy ML- people want the toxic 2nd lead cause the main lead is too “boring”

Hyeojin is a cutie pie but honestly, it feels like Jaewoo is taking care of a younger brother. Like 3 young boys, a mom has to cook & feed all the time. So that is not my cup of how romance feels to me. The only role Jaewoo plays here is benevolent mother. How cringe is that! And their chemistry is so bland! They are grown men, I wanted some mature convo. But that's not happening at least in the panels that has been released.
And as for mujin, well, there has been so much talk of his toxicity but srsly so far he has only teased our Jaewoo, shown possessiveness, and yes manipulated jaewoo into working for him. From their interactions you can just tell that their Chem is lit! Jaewoo doesn't seem scared of Mujin at all. He taunts mujin & even provokes him I dare say. Mujin brings out his passionate self. And Mujin has been accused of being crazy, but he seems unable to hurt our jaewoo. He is already besotted with Jaewoo & is already protective of him.
So as far as I am concerned, me shipping Jaewoo & Mujin was because frankly, their relationship has so far been as healthy & as spicy as I could expect!

Well I didn’t disagree with any ship since I personally don’t mind either. Just pointed out my observations from many stories that a ton of readers aren’t satisfied with main leads and mostly go for 2nd leads no matter what the character is. I think a lot of it is just the label “2nd lead” that’s appealing or gets sympathy from readers.
The only thing I’d disagree with is the last part you talked about mujin and jaewoo having a healthy relationship- I’d disagree on. I like mujin as a character and I agree there’s some enemies to lovers vibe- but I wouldn’t ignore the obvious red flags and unhealthy part of it. He did threaten the mc about hyeonjin’s debt. And there’s the fact that the mc doesn’t like him at all due to how he acts. The bad boy type isn’t the mc’s type. Mujin also constantly gets angry at the mc, and wants to control what the mc does, and so the mc gets mad in return. Mc doesn’t visit mujin cause he wants to ever, he only goes because he’s feels forced to = not a healthy relationship. There’s nothing wrong with shipping but it’s not good to not acknowledge that a relationship is not healthy.
