I'm glad this didn't end up like killing stalking, also, this is why communication is key in all relationships. They didn't communicate how they felt to one another and their emotions spiraled put of control, affecting their behavior and the way they view things. Although there are still uncertainties for their future, I'm glad they seem to be happy now. This story was like one big roller coaster ride downhill, then going back a steep uphill, and swerving at every turn to get to the end, what a heck of a ride.

Her family sucks. I know there's not a lot of chapters yet, but even if her family turned out to be a loving but misunderstood family or one that gaslights and is toxic, it's still the mc family's fault that the mc started to think in a negative way. Because she was affected by other people for being "inferior," she became the way she is, they never once consoled her. Like girl, if I was her, I too would take all the money I can get and leave. Like I would probably have a better chance at life and feeling amazing if I ran off with tons of money, even if the outside world is full of demons and robbers. It would be way better than living with a family that treats you like sh*t and random people gossiping about you.
Honestly, all they ever did was lock her up in dark rooms to reflect instead of asking her why she did what she did and why she felt that way. I would also feel resentment towards my sibling (even if it wasn’t there fault) if all they ever did growing up was compare me to them. Doesn’t help that outsiders also spoke illy of her, but the family never did anything about it. In fact, they participated in the verbal and emotional abuse. What I hate is that it also seems that the younger sibling (the blonde girl) also did things that were wrong growing up but they would automatically blame it on Sylvia instead of figuring out what actually happened. Most of all, they never gave her any love.
Lehman was sus since he first appeared. Dude was so shady, along with the fact he didn't appear in the original novel like mc said. He's so good-looking tho. I swear if there's some kinda plot twist to this where he was just acting sus and wasn't actually the imposter, but I highly doubt this twist would happen anyway.
