On another hand, it's really awesome that this story has actual stakes. It's not the cliché "oh I know the story and must prevent something easily preventable because I know all the details!"

The mc has people she is responsible for, a duty she must fulfil, but also a personal agenda that conflicts with the previous two. She's not a bashful damsel that only cares about "keeping the plot on track" -- she genuinely cares for her people, and it's quite charming how explicitly it's shown in the story ^^

The situation with the ml is the same -- it's not a simple resolution of "oh just let him get away" or "let himself be caught" -- both sides have nuances you can't just bypass, and I get genuinely anxious at the possible outcome for this set up

I don't remember when was the last time I was actually excited for plot twists in a rofan story without the annoying plot-armor reasoning!

It's so sad this manhwa isn't more popular, it really deserves the positive attention:(
