Everyone asking why he help.. I just think he wants an eye for an eye lol, or maybe he feel a bit guilty turning a blind eye on him being bullied so he help a little.

Honestly I think he just wanted him to feel the same pain as Hayden. If it was just about himself being the target he'd just let him rot in jail instead. And this is just me but... I also think he's holding a grudge and doesn't want Nathan to be seen as a victim. The grudge being about that kiss cuz his relationship with Hayden got even more messed up because of it. Honestly people keep saying Brett isn't deep in love with Hayden but his actions show just how invested he is into it... even if he himself doesn't notice.
Lastly... I don't think he turned a blind eye to Alexander being bullied. He reached out to him more than once and he was the one that pushed him away. Even Martin? (the one that's into Scott) tried to confront him because he dislikes how he just accepts being bullied like that. I feel that talk in the bathroom in the party was when Brett gave up. You can't help people that don't want to be helped.
But that's just what I think after binge reading it... again...

I don't think he's guilty....I mean the man almost got shot. And having waited for season 2, I had no recollection of any one having tried to help Alexander in the past, but regardless, he's tricky about "getting revenge". The deal he made with Alexander is actually a HUGE help. Without it, Alex would have been looking at either a death sentence or a life sentence w/o possiblity of parole, given his family's standing in the community, having no support, and without proof like the one Brett got, by not only grabbing the phone but also downloading the content as much as he can during the commotion. That's some dedicated pre-planning. When in reality, he could have hurt Alexander at the party, right after Alexander had been tackled to the ground. He didn't have to wait to "take his revenge". Though he did use the shoulder shot as leverage, in the end, Alexander's shooting himself would have been beneficial to Alexander himself, by creating said wave of sympathy from the public, to help his case.

Depends on what you consider help. If Brett had talked to the school, Nathan and the others or even the parents it would only worsen the situation. The only one that could stop it was Alexander himself. Unlike Hayden, Scott and the usual poor guy bullied by rich kids his family is as loaded as the others. Idek where his family got the idea of passing him out as an alpha... as if no one would notice it. Both him as his family are just too prideful to step back. The only way for him to stop it would have been showing even one photo to his parents and lie that they threatened him to drop out or transfer. That way his family would accept him getting away.
Honestly while I do hate bullying I don't feel bad for Alexander... he's too much of a prideful prick for it. I bet if anyone tried to help he'd explode on them and just be rude af. Brett did try to advise him by talking about his beta brother and got lashed out for it. It's one thing when you can't escape a bad situation and another when you keep putting youself in that situation. It's a complex situation and character but I feel no pity for someone that keeps attaching themselves to a bully/abuser when they have a way out like him.

Like I said, i don't remember anything about his being help from the bullying. If so then it wasn't helper. Idk. Would have to reread. But I don't understand what you meant by "If Brett had talked to the school, Nathan and the others or even the parents it would only worsen the situation.". And what it was Alexander could have done to remedy the situation. You're assuming Alex's parents would give a crap or concede to his son's demand of dropping out of school. Again, I'll have to reread. They literally applied for him as an alpha and used alpha Pheromone perfume on him to masquerade as an alpha. They did that to enhance their business. Reread the last two chapters. I think it was in ch. 28 when Brett had explained it.

I consider it "help" as had been laid out in another thread I had written re: this event. As well as what I've written above. Sure, he couldn't stop the bullying but he was able to help in the aftermath of the shootings. Maybe Alexander was trying to save the last shred of his dignity, idk. I don't remember that bit about his being helped at all. But if his family had him masquerading as an alpha to help with their perfume business idk how much they're willing to concede to "pulling him out of school".

That's what I'm saying... because Alexander's family put him in this situation and Nathan's family being that influential any help could just backfire and make the bullying worse. Nathan would get a slap in the wrist and take it out on Alexander. The only way he could've gotten out of the situation was THREATENING to make his situation public to force his family to accept him transferring out of that school. Everytime Brett and Alexander saw each other or talked Alexander has that "don't meddle" attitude. Can you imagine what would be Alexander's reaction if Brett went to him and said "Hey, I know you're in a shitty situation and want to help."? I didn't read the comment you said so I don't know what help you expected Brett to give but I doubt Alexander would have accepted it. And if he "forced his help" by intervening anyway not only he'd have made enemies out of Nathan and the others that participated but would also get no gratitude from Alexander... he'll even resent him for it. The only reason Alexander accepted his deal now if because he had no other choice.
All in all I'm just saying I don't think Brett had any obligation to help him. And even this deal ain't really help cuz he just wanted him to feel the same pain as Hayden. Alexander wouldn't shoot himself without gaining something out of it.

I never said Brett would gain anything out of helping Alex. The fact is he went there with evidence he had swiped from the victim before anything had cooled down. The amount of planning it takes just for Alex to shoot himself in the shoulder?!? When he could have EASILY beaten the crap out of him at the party. He's just there just to prove a point. But look at all the amount of work he puts in just to convince Alex to shoot himself?!? Lol. That's just madness.
Don't leave him alone.. he is traumatised
