Annette joins in the army as a nurse during the war. Fast forward, Annette and other people get captured, ML goes crazy. When he goes to the site, to find her, the church has fallen due to bomb blast. He gets more crazy, and tries to dig the church with his bare hands to find her,(while digging a sniper shots at him, i don't remember if it hurts him or not), but he finds her, buried beneath the church debris, he saved her and takes care of her untill she is awake, after she is awake she doesn't see her and avoids her. After that he finally let's go her and doesn't see her for years, till the war is finished.
They meet in future, after the war is finished, their relationship gets improved, and yes ofcourse, they get re married.
