I remember reading somewhere that the author did consider to follow the story up to the world-class level but he’s not sure if he will manage?? (idk, maybe didn’t plan for the series to go so far or doesn’t feel like he can pull it off so he would rather leave it as it is than f it up) So for now the plan is to end the series as this competition is done with. But since he did set up a scene for the world-class races - who knows, maybe he’s gonna change his mind or pick up this story again some day.
