it feels like these guys are skin walkers wearing these characters skin or like actors wearing their bodies or something , like im being dramatic but something feels so off but idk what it is. Maybe it’s a slight change in art but even the way they’re talking and acting is so… ALSO what’s with authors’ need to make characters have known eachother from a younger AGEEEEE!?? It’s ok for them to have just met by chance at a college man

not the author trying to sound all philosophical with that nonsensical rubbish in the beginning. not only is there the medical bills uke needs to pay cliche but you’re telling me blonde snake dude wants to impregnate a random man bcs he poured a little water on him? Like ik it saved his life but ??? Does he not live in the forest doesn’t he know where the water is? but uke is not surprised at all at the transforming snake & also seems unfazed by the fact he wants to put eggs in him LMAO and just rejects him casually like he asked for his email? everything is happening so fast and both characters could not be any more BORING , the art is so gewd thoo

how is he immediately forgiving him for betraying everyone , putting his lover in potentially life threatening danger, raping him and then almost murdering him ?? Bro is literally gushing blood from his nose and is just like “you’re family so it’s ok” this isn’t the fast and furious wth does family have to do with anything u should be round house kicking that mf off the planet or be verbally abusing him or being even idk a slightly bit angry - what? Literally made the story go from 5 to 3 stars for that bs
but I’m getting tired of this , can we get somewhere pls - we get it tj and Ian have a trauma bond and Jo is probably better , either give us more Jo and stop w all the flashbacks or GET BACK WITH TJ. Like let’s spice up the NOW. like I understand the point of the flashbacks are to show why Ian is attached and could possibly be with tj because their relationship isn’t entirely just toxic but it would be healthier for Ian to move on which is what he’s always wanted THEREFOR can we do something with Jo it feels like he’s always just there doing absolutely fuck all
I feel like it’s important we see backstory of Ian and TJ because we don’t know much of their history.
but I feel like we KNOW. we know, I for sure remember chapters and flashbacks of their past countless times , maybe I’m just being impatient but I feel like it’s been going nowhere for ages
I guess on a more deeper level author wants us to dive into their backstory.
The author already said many answers to their relationship will be in S2. S2 main focus is their flashbacks and parallel it to present time and with bits of Jo actions (both seasons). Which many readers keep dismissing.
I think the reason you feel like it's off is because the wait is long 10 days for 1 chapter and the chapters tend to be short. When really and currently the story has a good pacing.
