I think king IL was not that good of a ruler ...a kingdom cannot survive with only peace and no weapons ... Cuz if u are trying to keep peace there will be others to disrupt it ... And paying compensation to other kingdoms while Ur own is starving ... Um this shows no proper management .... I think his assassination was logical .. but sentimentally NO it was wrong ... Kyesook is way too practical for his own good ...I kinda understand his way of thinking ... He just sees everyone as a pawn ... He uses them when he needs them ... But his ultimate goal is to have a flourished kouka .... He is too ambitious .... Lacking sentiments.... So I don't really have anything against him .. he is just doing what needs to be done ...

I can say I am 100% sure that I don't fully understand the weight of this plot but I like where this is taking me ...

Choi fell in love with him or even noticed him because of his looks which junsoek never had and got after surgery .... If he didn't change himself and confessed he would be rejected for sure ... Then doesn't this show that looks and appearance is what mattered to Choi more than the person himself ..... After u know that the guy u love looks dashing and looked unappealing in the past , accepting it was not that hard for Choi cuz currently he has the kind of guy he wants ...it would be completely different if he actually Fell in love with his unappealing self ... In the end it just felt like if ur beautiful u get loved ...not because of who u actually are ...
