I can’t with this I’ve never been the type to judge an artist and their art style but every single one of their works have characters that look identical to all her characters it’s like they’re basically carbon copies of each other. I saw this and immediately recognised the artist and it pissed me off irrationally because of how similar they look to the other like 2 threesome pairings they have done already
The BL and yaoi genre has a problem with same face syndrom. It can be more or less prevalent depending on the artist. It may be lazyness, lack of imagination or because they have a certain esthetism and type of face they tend to stick to them instead of designing a diversity of faces and characteristics.
This is something that we don't often see in genres like Seinen and Shonen
People and victims don’t change overnight, sejin has lived his life under the abuse from his family and has always needed to seek out ways to help the family in order to be recognised as a part of the family unit itself. Expecting him to be able to immediately change gears on his family, who he’s known his whole life, the moment he meets his partner who he’s known for like a few months is crazy. I think some of yall really need to start developing a sense of empathy, because no matter how smart or intelligent the character may be, overcoming abuse and breaking free from those chains is incredibly difficult in it of itself.

I just want to give spoilers bcs I feel like it but in the next few chapters lwy will tell inseob about his mental disability in order to make inseob feel bad and thus more attached to him,
then on the next day, he will come back from his shoot trying to find inseob only to see that he’s missing, and then he goes crazy trying to find him bcs he thinks that he ran away, so when he goes back to the hotel and sees inseob sitting with the cake he got for lwys bday he goes crazy and rapes him without hearing him out, causing him to rip and then inseob is rightfully shocked.
Lwy is surprised that he did that and goes to confort inseob but is rejected, so he gets a panic attack and throws up, begging inseob to look at him and stuff. Then even though inseob is literally bleeding he tries to call for an ambulance but is stopped by lwy who tells him that he doesn’t need it and that he’s a piece of shit (he is lol). Then he says that Inseob is the most pretty when he smiles and then some how inseob asks lwy to have sex with him AGAIN even though he is STILL ripped… yeah… I read the novel so ik what happens up till the side stories

I’m replying as someone who lives in a big city in Asia, the homophobia is still rampant here, and a lot of the people I see and interact with are equally as ignorant as the girl in this story. As a queer person myself I am in constant fear of being outed. This is unfortunately my, and a lot of other queer people’s reality. Imagine being in a rural town in Asia, this is only going to be several times worse.
I’m not saying it does, I’m saying that we can’t expect everyone to be accepting of their relationship, especially coming from a town where most elders have probably raised the youth with the mentality of finding queer existence as something wrong. What she did is definitely wrong, but there has to be some nuance when you approach a topic like this especially considering the setting of the story
