Fr, i was about to write about this. From the start they just favoured one son to another, then sensing him to another country at ten, and just never being present when it was important. They didn't understand his feelings and just kinda gave up on him. Luan just pulled through by himself. Hedric is the only guardian of Luan I liked. He cared, sent the letters to who it belonged and just in general was nice to both.
LITERALLY. It was fustrading to see them put sooo much pressure on Luan and then being like "oh, well" about sean. Everyone in that manor cared more about him and his well being then his own family. Like i give his mom SOME grace cause she would at least try to sympathize in some way while the other two were just "are you being serious right now? Stop crying over such a small thing and move on" LIKE UGGHHHHH
I also like to add that the main reason the father sent his son off to another country was so he could forget about his childhood friend. He returns 12 years later and meets the childhood friend again, tells his father how much he cares and loves for him, nd the father just dismisses his feelings!? 12 years! The dad should've understood that at that point, this isn't some silly crush anymore. And the brother, mother, nd father didn't even bother getting to know Clauden, who their son adores! No wonder Luan got so attached to Clauden, he was the only person who showed how much he cared for him. It's so sad and frustrating. Luan has abandonment issues because his family sent him away + obviously favor their older son over him. The least they can do is acknowledge his feelings

I dont like the ending cause i feel like itd be better if they explored their feelings over the attempted murder more. Like how they heal and start the BDSM part of their relationship again. I like the dark turn it had but the end felt so stuffy. Like the air around them still feels so thick because of the walls that have now been put up by Hwayoung to make sure he never makes a mistake to cause harm. Also id like to see how Gyu manages his own wants (more than just the cutting) when the person he loves can no longer provide/satisfy those needs. Hopfully the side stories provide more in depth story lines that take place during the whole PTSD and trama healing era of their relationship.
Honestly...that answer isnt much of a surprise like Yui has only ever had his brother and we know what that was like. Hes also bever reallg had a proper friend so of course it has even crossed his mind that they could be dating. Especially since they havent even had a "we're boyfriends now! Yippee!" Talk

I get him saying hes just like his dad. Especialy since we've seen that yelling is a trigger for him and he's currently living in the enviornment that caused the trigger to manifest. Though it is more of an exaggeration of a comparison(which im sure he'll recognize next chapter) but Hangul also doesn't know when to stop putting that pressure as well as kinda trying to force Wonnie to go with what he's saying. We don't really know what Hanguls' home life is like so maybe he does think the decisions hes trying to get Wonnie to make are as simple as he's saying and doesnt understand how hard it can be to just jump into an unknow situation. I just hope they start to understand each other more and get a happy ending

One thing i LOVE about these side chapters/AUs, is that even tho they always fall for eachother, they arent exactly the same people. Like they have similar quirks as their other reality selves but are also different from eachother and its super cool to see that the author is able to express the fact that they are differnt people from the fox or omega universe.
The main thing that saved this for me was that Aoi fell for him when he thought he was a 17/18 yr old and the love he held on to for so long was towards that oldsr guy in his head. There was no grooming type plot(thank god) and once they reuited the ML was 18 yrs old. AND when they first did the deed, Aoi thought he was doing it with a 25 yr old. The whol lying until after doing it does feel kinda icky but other than that it was preety cute even with the age gap. I wouldnt date an 18 yr old at 23 but at least nkthing happened when he was 11(?!? Still kinda crazy ngl)
