i just finished reading it for the first time and i want to sob now that it is over. this deserves a higher rating.
ML has a sexomnia issue where he starts having sex with the MC after breaking up with his ex girlfriend and starting new sleeping medication. I would have to rate this of 4.5 out of 5, just because the storyline was pretty good but the entire story it was mostly just sex. the smut was awesome dont get me wrong, but it was overwhelmingly about sex. dowon is a green flag because he always made sure that whatever he was doing was okay, nothing was technically non consensual because he always thought that his lover was aware of what he was doing. also the story quickly switched from friends to lovers very quickly and the slow burn was no longer slow burn, it was sudden.
i need to give this an infinity out of 100 because WTF everything was perfect!!! the storyline, the plot, the character development, the plot twist, THE ART IS GODSMACK BEAUTIFUL, the bdsm, the sex scenes, the love, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. i cried in the middle of it because the angst was so strong. this story is about vampires and humans that live together and get blood from a blood bank. the banker is unable to sense vampires pheromones making the owner of the bank fall in love with him. he is “abnormal” because he wants to be dominated by a human. the story of the banker unfolds while his feelings of anger slowly turn into love for the blood lord.
usually not a fan of manipulation unless its both ways like checkmate but the art is just so fantastic and the drama is so enticing i just cant get enough… but i dont understand how the beta is so blind to everyone around him liking him like are you dumb, the alpha gives so many hints
