Is because of that poison Leon said his body is like a broken mug when he poured water(magic) it's getting leak out, and nergal said that poison dmgs person body so it will force the drinker in hibernation to repair the dmg but Leon looks like he over use it. He sleep and sleep even more then when we wakes up that's were they know he got no more magic and overthrow him. I think this is would be acceptable explanation on what happened to his body.
