When you read it not really...the friend liked her cos she thought they were on the same level. When she went missing or left she was alone and wanted to try and be someone only to realise she was never someone all along and the person she thought was just like her was chosen "over her" to be special. Agree with jeyoya on this one, her friends idea of friendship is toxic. And mc DIDN'T tell her any offensive word or insults during their parting and to begin with, mc has been abused at home but as a person who claims to be her childhood friend she doesn't seem to care or understand mc's situation before or after mc became a saint (as the abuse still lingers till adulthood) from this, we can infer that just chooses to turn a blind eye just like what she did on the previous chapters (only time she speaks up is if she feels endangered.) or a victim mentality
