It's not bad, but it's not great.
But, as a rofan avid reader, I'll take what I can get.
There's so many cliche route, and the brother is so ridiculously pathetic. But, it still interesting, so it's a win.
Because I read the novel and honestly, it's better than most shallow story out there.
Yes, it's going to be frustrating and depressing. But that's what it feels to be inside the head of a child whose trauma never been addressed.
Yes, it's sad that she's only going to be on the healing journey at the end of the novel, but sometimes that's what it felt when you're dealing with mental illness.
I like the story because the problem that should be handled easily became more complicated inside of a sick mind.
She's an actual child who lost her only friend/family, after living together inside of an establishment who abused children. And there's a line from MC later on that sticks to my mind
"Maybe, if I lost Swan when I'm a little older, I'm not gonna felt this way."
And for people who always complained about how MC always ended up with a prince or high ranking noble, this is the story. Because the THEO is the ML.
And for people who always complained about ML never have his own thoughts and dream? This is the story. Because THEO has his priorities outside MC's life, but still supportive of her.
Yes, they're going to fight a lot and made mistakes along the way, but that's normal because they're still young.
And, the novel itself only have 120 chapter. It's gonna be short journey. So, I really hope that the publisher aren't gonne mess this up.
This story felt like using so many cliché trope but doesn't even made an effort to made it connected with one another.
So, supposedly she knows the story from the novel. It means that she came from another world, but she doesn't seem have any intelligence, is she just a child in another world? But she doesn't act like a child.
The og!FL is supposedly already an adult, but she doesn't have mentality as an adult, then act like an innocent child. She doesn't stop his father from killing the family who support the royal family for generation and happy when other family's misfortunes. Yet now felt bad that the 'child' who's nice to her in her previous life but still made her suffers.
I know that every women different, but it's a pity that the artist didn't show even a small bump on their tummy.
"This PUMPKIN!"
"You as dumb as asparagus."
These children hate vegetables so much they get insulted as one, lol
I felt bad when I saw antagonist can be this stupid.
Like it really shows that she doesn't have education before.
This is why amnesia reason isn't the right way. People just assumed she would remember her first love again if she spend time with him.
What sad is, if she's truly doesn't remember, and this pos did this and made her fall in love again, he would left her the moment she became obsessed again.
I think you guys are so hard on her.
She's doing all of this revenge for HIM. Because she LOVE him and GUILTY towards him.
It doesn't matter whether she's responsible for the past or not, SHE felt that.
So, of course everything about him going to made her falter. She's not a robot that programmed to be one thing only. She's a human being with a complex feeling.
The revenge is for him, not for herself. That's the reason why the resolve is different than other revenge story. The only mistake she did is underestimate Ianfried's cruelty.
This site ripped from magus toon.
So here the chapter with high quality images.
Not so for the translation though, it's just mid, lol.

I'm either run, call security, or completely ignore it.
First there's no way I'm climbing those stairs, day or night doesn't matter.
Second, it simply suspicious. It's either connected to the case and it's dangerous man who could push you from the building, or other people who absolutely have no business in that building whatsoever, and TOTALLY DANGEROUS.
Lol, it's not countryside job experience, it's countryside babysitting. All the artist came to babysit this child
Lol, every conversation is so childish and cringe.
And the punishment? Get thrown in a snake pit? Wear a liar sign and take a lap in the mansion? What is this? Elementary school?
There's a differences between two works.
I'm quite shock to learn that in the novel, at this point he's still an elementary school student.
Because there'll be a transition when he graduated from elementary school and get into art junior high school. And his female friends (I forgot her name) goes into different school.
And it much more heartbreaking seeing an elementary school student being so considerate and sometimes even put himself down several times.
The novel is such an wholesome read when everyone tried to help him and he was broken so much that the process is heartbreaking.
But, after several breakdown and he hyperventilate in the middle of shooting, he finally get help he need for.
I have the link for decent translation, but the site is dripping with ads, so thread carefully.
