Yep that's what I thought too but in the end the ML there is tamer as he repented all the abuse the mc went through and he was a technically broken person who could no longer discern the right and wrong. The ML here could be cousin with sangwoo from killing stalking because he is relishing all the abuse he's throwing at our mc I can't imagine how the author could possibly redeem him by the ending (unless he also gets a sang woo treatment but I have yet to see a tragedy tag)
