I heavily disagree with the comments, for me, the MC is actually a pretty good character. When it comes to BLs, the characters always feel fake af, the uke is either strong, independent righteous OR uwu, woe is me type of characters i.e they usually have one-dimensional personalities

But the uke in this story actually has a well thought out personality. He isn't perfect, there are times when he overthinks, starts getting insecure, and then acts petty because of his insecurities. That makes him so much more interesting as a character. It feels like I'm reading an actual story and not some fairy tale where all the main characters are perfect. Their personalities are relatable, and i look forward to what they do next instead of just easily guessing their next actions.
