After they sleep together, they don't really get together. Then at the perfume collaboration event, ido doesn't show up. Sejin find him standing in front of his car. Long story short, as Sejin starts to walk away, ido begs him to not go. Then proceeds to sob for hours.

They decide to start dating. Then the novel switches to idols point of view. Starting from beginning of first life to second life. Then it ends with them taking about Marraige.

The wife-lady knew they had feelings for each other, but advised that getting married was the best option otherwise it would hurt their families financially. It’s a sad, but common truth to stuff like that in that time period. Even for straight couples, many relationships had to be severed just for financial gain. Also Touma is the one who is implied to have passed, not Hayato.

Touma unfortunately left too soon before Hayato’s letter could be sent explaining WHY he married her. I’m sure once he learned of Touma’s death, he had regrets considering he was able to possess ML to talk to Touma. It does make me curious as to where his spirit lingered this whole time though since we never saw it beforehand.

Either way it’s really sad, but I assume spiritually they’re together now. <3

She was a bitch. She didnt advise. She threatened them. She knew they liked each other. And forced ML to marry her or else Mc's family could have an "accident". Or even Mc himself. She also said she had ties to the underwold so he should choose wisely.

About his spirit lingering they are the same person. Just reincarnations. So it wouldnt be odd if hayato was chaneling the memories of the past life into this new one.
Its like the sould having many parts and when one part reincarnates the others can linger, stay atached or jist not reincarnate all together.

Bit regardless im sour about the whole thing. And pissed at Ml. Ahh smh.

Oh geez I must have completely misunderstood what she was saying but yeah I get that honestly the story itself wasn’t terrible, but I wasn’t too big of a fan of it. I feel like it relied to heavily on the past rather than the present, but I assume the mangaka couldn’t go too into depth on relationship building considering it’s a short so just have to cope. BUT I’ll def check it out !!

The past life could have been avoided and i would love not knowing Ml used to be a jerk. I was like "is this the summer hikaru died but happy?" and now im left like (._.)
