you know, there was a scene in the original novel (what’s played out in ep. 80 on here) where prince wade shows up with a full grown beard and it was meant to be a little gag abt how it looked but looking back on the actual manwha, i’m actually kind of sad they dropped that and just made him look like what he does. like that’s one of the one things where i read the manwha, ssn 1 of it - this was when it was on hiatus -, and then later read the og novel fully and thought “i wonder how they would do this in the manwha” and it’s sad that they’d just cut that out. its such a small thing but with the scene being so serious and heartwarming, her lil mans is back in town or whatever, and it just being that without any humor makes it almost less dimensional in a way? like i said, it truly is a small thing that was a throw away sentence in the novel, but man was i wishing they’d do something with it.

man, chapter 5 is crazy looking back on with the foreshadowing.. from nux questioning if asperier is making a clone of him from the hair and then the “he needs at least 5 ppl” remark. i’ve reread the beginning chapters a LOT and i just realized what it meant . just really interesting how foreshadowing only becomes apparent after u know what’s being foreshadowed ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

okay so i haven’t done this before (and wouldn’t have if not for not being able to find it even by looking thru the search bar/explore thingy on here) but there was this one manwha that i needed help finding the name of. basically fl is reincarnated into the daughter of someone of high status (probably a duke’s daughter) and is chosen by god/a dragon to be there and she’s in contact with the six elements and then later on gets powers from each of them. it had at least 100 episodes when i dropped it and i remember most of the plot, i just cannot for the LIFE of me remember the name or her character name ( • ∧ • ).

fun fact! its actually better NOT to ration ur water, unlike food. if u ration water, it leads to more and more dehydration until ur . its better to take a sip or two every time u feel the need to rather than “drink a drop” everytime u get an overwhelming urge to drink. that urge is literally ur body saying to drink water, so it’s best to listen to it. in any case, if u ration water like this, u’d probably die before u can drink the entire bottle. not like any of u would be in this kind of situation, but hey! its nice to know .

i think the queen mother is such a fascinating character in this manwha bc of the subversion of our thoughts towards her as the story progresses. when we first see her, she seems like a delusional, grieving parent who lost her child and couldn’t handle the grief so she lost her mind. but as the story progresses, we see moments where she seems like she’s seeing the future and knows things others do not, like when leticia comes and she calls her child. now originally, of course, we think of it as another person she thinks of as julian, but we realize that she KNOWS leticia, and she KNOWS that in the future, leticia will be her child. and that subversion of thought relates to her relation to the gilliard(? i think that’s how u spell it ), the power of foresight in the manwha. even though we, as the reader, see her as “insane”, she subverts that expectation again and again while still having those comedy moments where she thinks her guard is her child to continue the “i’m delusional” aspect of her character. and my favorite aspect of this case is when she finally gets julian’s remains in the beginning, i believe she mentions that her child has returned to her, which is what she said since the beginning of her character, when she’s first introduced. of course, we’re meant to believe that that’s the end of it, that that’s the last we’ll see of that storyline. until the VERY END. julian is revived and returns to his mother, alive and well and happy. that’s what she meant this entire time. she knew he would come back to her, not as the “big child” or even “the child” (aka leticia), her “REAL child”. i find her character the most well-thought out and beautiful because of this and it ties up so well in my eyes. beautiful storytelling and one of the most stunning manwhas i’ve ever read!!
