To ya'll who wrote these scrolls of comments, just know that I read them all haha. Let me write my own, too.

And based on your arguments I can say that:

1. It's true that Carcel WAS a filthy trash, frolicking with bitches with no shame until Ines caught him red-handed. And frankly, I abhorred him for that. But one thing I realized was he never meant to do that. It was out of his vengeful mind and heart, hoping he could hurt Ines the way she had hurt him earlier in their youth. Remember when Ines' butler (or is it Ines, idr) confessed that the reason she cut communication with him was partly because she suffered her sickness for years? When Carcel knew that, he became disgusted with himself, that while her fiancee battled with sickness, he was out there playing with bitches. I dunno bout ya'll, but a man has a big ego, and the way he blamed and hated himself for his cheating speaks a lot about how intense his feelings are for Ines. If it's another man, hell nah would they own up to their mistakes like "well, you did wrong first, so let's take it as quits, yeah?"After that confession, notice how he gave everything to Ines - his heart and soul. It's as if the only thing hindering his complete surrender is his insecurities and fears that Ines didn't care about him and Ines might be instead in love with someone else. And notice how he instinctively knew that Ines had many secrets but still accepted her, hoping that she'll open up to him someday. And another one, notice how all his pass bitches never showed themselves again? It's probably because Carcel tied loose ends and again, he didn't really wanna play. Don't get me wrong, I'm no cheater enabler. Just saying that his actions were controlled and planned to hopefully hurt Ines but ended up being worthless.

2. As Ines remembered her past lives where all the traumatic events were caused by this obnoxiously devious being, she made up her mind to focus on escaping Oscar's grasp, whatever it is she has to do and whoever it is she might step on to. She was so focused that she failed to notice her peripherals where Carcel stands. But who'd blame her? She experienced 2 lifetimes agonizing because of the same person, so she's like in an adrenaline run to save herself and not mess up this current lifetime's chance to completely eliminate Oscar in her life, along with her fears and horrors. She focused on herself and practiced emotional isolation so no one could hurt her. Her pushing Carcel to cheat was certainly annoying to read (for me) but it's a strategic way to achieve her goals. She had trust issues with the people related to her demise in her past lives, hence the reason for acting logically without relying on emotions. And Carcel being a cheater ultimately solidifies the plan in her mind. In later chapters, she's beginning to remember that Carcel, in all her lifetimes, was always there for her all along. And when she noticed, she was skeptical of letting him mess up her perfectly devised plan. Who wouldn't? Once she let him in, her vision of her escaping would be hazy, and that her fears of her tragic past lives repeating again, this time with Carcel, would be relived. She was imprisoned. But she overcame and somehow took courage to start anew with him, even if it means she'll be facing uncertainty ahead. That right there made her a character worth rooting for.

So to sum up, Carcel and Ines are both characters with great depth and distinction. They braved all their past and still made their way into each other's lives in this current lifetime. And honestly, we as readers all have different stands, and that's okay, because we have different perspectives influenced by different experiences and values. Just don't go making ops for this, we are better than that.

I think the prince has obsessive feelings for our fl? Like he wants to test if the fl would always choose him over anything and that gives him satisfaction. In the past chapters, i feel like he wants to claim her as his alone and that he really likes her romantically but he's a psycho so he gotta do some psycho shit. I also feel like he has a part in her regression coz he obsessed?? I'm looking forward to how this arrangement with the prince and fl would unravel.
