Ok this chapter was a little better. Got the angst on here that I wanted especially for the previous chapter that wasn't enough for me. Damn it's taking so long to get some confessions up in here & I really want that confession to happen alreadyʕノ•ᴥ•ʔノ ︵ ┻━┻. Umehiko's stubbornness may serve a purpose for theo to fight hard for ume's sake & to show him his endearment he has for him. I hope we the next update soon cause now I'm anxious to know tbh.
I know a lot of people dislike hao because of his tsundere & stubborn personality but I like reading his story. Tbh I wanna know his & his servant's story just like I like to know all of the sacred beasts stories. I feel like we get a lot of kotone & nagi's story that getting a new one of another couple is kinda refreshing if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong I love reading some kotonagi along with their baby but I like reading a new couple for a change. Also I do hope we get new babies from the other sacred beasts because it's needed.
NGL he grows on you and seeing the story behind his servant really makes you understand why he was so resentful. Now he doesn't know what to do with those feelings since Haru is back.
To be fair I disliked him at first because what he did was really reckless and sort of a "If I can't be happy/can't be with Nagi then no one else can" but in the end he did give Yua his own blessing during the ritual.
Oh God I thought I'd be the only one because there's a lot of people commenting how much they dislike hao but you spoke the truth. Yes, we do get an understanding as to why he was the way he was with kotone, nagi & with his servant in the beginning.
I disliked him too because he was being nosey & too obsessed. But, after reading his story & seeing what had happened; I understood. I never hated him & I actually hope to get more of his story.
Honestly Hao has been through quite a lot if you put things into perspective.
1. His lover/sibling/counterpart got torn away from him because another divine beast abandoned his duties
2. His servant took a long time to come (Nagi too definitely)
3. His servant went back to make amends and was whisked away by some troublemaker for 200 years, of which Hao had assumed that he never wanted to return.
Like that man had everyone he was close to stripped away from him and people hate him because he tried to bind Nagi to him again? He showed what he was made of when he wanted to rescue his servant. (Plus it was a sore spot that Wu touched when Hao didn't get what he wanted with Nagi, but in the end it did work out and Nagi became a divine beast )
Anybody else wants to reread this again or has started over because you forgot some parts of it & because the story is so good it's worth rereading? Yeah, imma start over with this manhua. It's been a year since I finished it & man this had me hooked. I love the couple from here, they're so gorgeous & really sexy too. It sucks that it's gonna take longer to get the full season 3 but reading the small chapter I am so scared for wren & I know he meant well. Really? An immediate sex scene? I've noticed that with this artist that they add a sex scene immediately with a serious scene that lasted two seconds. I really wanted the dark scene to be longer, I wanted theo to have a bit of a struggle to get through to umehiko & there would be more of that angst theme that was going on along with some hurt & comfort. This whole chapter should've been that & then the next chapter could've had that intimate moment building up. But I was kinda disappointed with this chapter, hopefully the next chapter will be better but man we didn't need the smut scene so soon. This is my unpopular opinion but I wanted more of umehiko's angst moment here.
Started reading this yesterday & I must say I am not disappointed with it at the moment. I literally made it till chapter 20, I had to stop myself from continuing because I was so into the story. I want to thank the few people that told me it was good & it definitely is. I know there's more to come when reading more chapters but for now I love it.
They're so stupid but they make such a good couple. I read this on MRM a year or two ago & I didn't know that there was more chapters after 8. Anyways I can't wait for more chapters because I wanna know if they get married & have a baby together ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ .

Don't take to heart the completed tag here in mangago. If you look at vol. 2 chap 1, you can see in the ToC that this has 6 chapters. They refer to chapters as volumes and volumes as tankoubon volumes.

There is gang violence and themes of abuse but there no stuff like rape in the man relationship and toxic shit like that.
If you are okay with explicit violence and sex you should definitly read it for story and art are both great.
If you are triggered by violence or substance abuse you should stay away.
That's what I wanted to know, Idk why but this one troubled me & I could make up my mind. No I don't get triggered by stuff like that on mangas but rape & non con I don't like to see on manhuas. Thank you for giving me specific details & now I'm okay with adding it to my list to read it soon.
