I really loved the couple, their chemistry and backstory however the way the characters (specially kengo) dealed with the abuse wasn't right. This manga is 10 years old so it's probably the reason why, domestic abuse was deemed like the victim's fault at the time. However, abuse will NEVER be the victim's fault! What the heck "oh your husband must be jealous that's why he hit you" like??? No! There's no reason for a partner to be toxic and abusive, and if they do that then damn they got some problems and you better break up with them.
OMG, I'm so glad someone else called this out! I love the author's work and I was fine with the manga until I got to chapter 11, where Kengo tells Shibuya to apologize to her husband for going to dinner with a coworker and then later tells Hidetoshi that she was being overly emotional by hugging him, like WTF? The manga makes him seem like he was just being cold but he was being so insensitive! Of course if you're in a situation like that, you'd be emotional! I didn't feel resolved at all and I don't really blame Shibuya for saying he was cold. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I think Tamaki is obviously traumatized, and really has Oedipus Complex, so I'm not sure how he'll completly overcome all that? Therapy would be the best option but I doubt that'd happen in a manga. Anywaay I hope he comes to really like Shii, this is already giving me heartbreaking vibes lul
