as for the lady whose name i can't remember....a part of me wants to feel sympathy for her as well, because she was in the same boat as je-oh. but i think she's too far gone now. very much giving a modern version of those historical fantasy stories where the poor character invades nobility and ends up a worse person who tramples on others.
of course, that's pretty much je-oh now, but i hope he gets out of it before he continues the cycle. and then the new kid, will be the end (hopefully).

anyways, i really wanna know if everyone's futures and behaviors were the exact same all 10 regressions. because while i'm already on taewon's side & will always be, i think it'll be less awful if the other past lives weren't as harsh as the previous one.

anyways, i think sinwoo is my least favorite. i know he's pretty popular with everyone, but i've honestly felt this way from the beginning. something about him has always rubbed me the wrong way. then i realized that he's like.....so pushy. i mean, they're all pushy (minus wonjoon so far), but i think he's the worst of them all.
like, he reminds me of the "flirting vs. harrassment" meme. he's trying to flirt boldly/confidently, but it always feels like it's toeing the line of harrassment (if not just straight up crossing the line).
i honestly think if his personality were even just a smidge worse, he wouldn't be as popular as he is lmao
it's been so long since i've felt giddy over a BL like this, even though i just know it's not gonna be all lovey-dovey & will probably have it's fair share of angst, i'm still enjoying this a lot so far

i love how the encounters between the cleaners & the vandals/raiders feel so comedic. like the battles are intense, but they're all so silly at the same time lmao
the author keeps extending the time these two have liked each other and that's still not making people give a shit. what they actually need to do is make their relationship less annoying
anyways, i get that bora's actions & thought processes are frustrating as hell, but some some of these reactions towards her are so.....yikes. like at the end of the day, she's acting this way because she was not only betrayed, but also bullied, in the past and that's become a trauma for her. it makes sense that she'd get anxiety about this whole situation and would want to shut it down immediately without really thinking about the specifics.
i do still wish she'd open up about with SOMEBODY. like i can't believe she hasn't opened up to jiwoon at least, like girl.
the development better actually be good. if it's focused more on feelings, then i don't want jae to JUST realize he has feelings for dan. i need him to realize he's been a piece of shit and that dan deserved better. i need him to really work on himself and earn his relationship with dan.
and god pls give kim dan a backbone. dont have him falling (harder) for jae & accepting whatever is given to him just bc jae might be a little nice to him.

we see taewon & yusung development, specifically the "drunken night" in question.
yusung was gonna drown himself in alcohol, taewon saw him struggling with the bags and immediately helped him (though of course he had to be a bit snarky, but nothing extreme—if anything, he was worried that yusung was running errands for the other trainees again).
they go to a vocal practice room and here we learn that taewon knows yusung's birthday, to yusung's surprise. taewon blushes and uses the excuse that he looks at every new trainees profile, which yusung is clearly disappointed by.
BUT THEN, when talking about why yusung wanted to drink, he explains that he's unsure if he should even still be a trainee. taewon then asks yusung what he thinks about singing & dancing, because he tells yusung that he's the most important thing, to which yusung kisses him (it was more like barely touching lips). at this point, i don't think they've drunk ANYTHING. like they literally just opened their cans
mind you, taewon was also blushing here. it wasn't as intense as yusung's blush, but he didnt look angry or anything, just surprised. but then taewon is snapped out of his thoughts, so we don't see what happened next.
even though i'd hate for him to essentially keep being "left out", i kinda wish wonjoon stayed as a neutral party. it was really nice seeing him and yusung talk casually without any underlying tension in this episode. especially seeing yusung stress about building good relationships, i couldn't help but think about how stressful it is having to manage everyone's feelings for him while he just wants to debut.
i think this episode is why people have cemented in their minds that taewon's an irredeemable asshole. he was pretty shitty in this episode, but learning his true feelings later on kind of softens the blow. at least for me.
like i've said here and there before, taewon isn't the worst kind of asshole love interest. he's actually very tame.
you know, i understand why sinwoo feels the way he does in regards to:
1) not really liking yusung before his regression
2) not wanting to get involved in yusung's drama
however, it still feels kinda weird to hear from a potential love interest that he only really started liking yusung (in general, not a romantic way) after his regression yusung had to change in order to gain his favor lmao. but again, i guess that's not necessarily a negative thing towards sinwoo considering even yusung was frustrated with his past self.
also, since i'm doing this re-read in defense of taewon's character, i have to mention the contrast between sinwoo adamant about not getting involved in yusung's drama (and then ultimately feeling like he HAD to get involved or else he'd look bad in front of his fans) versus taewon immediately running in to defend yusung.
(same for sang-rok! he wanted to do something to help yusung right away, which is why he's my 2nd fave fr).
anyways, i really feel bad for past taewon. he has to receive all of yusung's anger & hate towards a future version of taewon without knowing why.
honestly, if i wasn't such a taewon defender, i would be rooting for sang-rok because he is the only one who had an actual positive relationship with yusung. and like, not just in regards to affection, but genuine friendship (kind of). he's such a cutie patootie
sinwoo, on the other hand, was kind of an ass in the beginning. imbut it didn't really last long i guess.
but i still love taewon. it's actually so obvious that he had/has feelings for yusung, he just sucks at showing them. idek if it counts as tsundere....but it sure if something lmao
and wonjoon.....well. he's certainly there! .....kinda...?
anyways, i'm not usually into possessive tops, but this level is pretty okay for me. it all comes down to the sex though...
i really hope they don't tread into that kinda weird dubcon/noncon area where it goes from the bottom being a little overwhelmed but still enjoying himself to him being completely overwhelmed & distressed.
