Well that part luckily only lasted for a while because it was painful to read, they're doing ok rn in the latest chapter of the translations

What happened was that they went to li lei's family house and his grandpa didn't approve of her as his gf because she had bad fortune or smth. Then some kids from the family set a trap for her and when she was caught she started having flashbacks of her torture and then li lei saved her. Also she broke (probably) all of her fingers while trying to get out. Then she got treated and li lei was giving her a bath bc she was covered in blood, then he started to get kinda horny seeing her wet like that and seeing through her clothes so he was about to call someone to give her a bath but she unconsciously held onto him telling him not to leave her alone (she was still in the effect of the trauma flashbacks at the time) so li lei decided that ot was okay to do it with her (nope) and while he was about to enter her she called out pei ziheng's name and he got frustrated ( i dont remember if he actually did it with her then or if he just left). That was the rape and then when she woke up he raped her again. If you read the spoilers you know that li lei has a crazy half brother (li feng), I'll mention him later. So when xia ling was leaving she was stopped by su tang (li lei's assistant if you're bad with names) and su tang told her that she wouldn't be able to leave alone and that su tang would accompany her her. Then an helicopter came for xia ling and then just as she was about to get in it li feng came and stopped the helicopter and then said that there was

A bomb in the helicopter to kill xia ling (which was true) and tjrew the bomb to the sea (i think). Then it was found out that su tang and the head of the house planned this behind li lei's back and they wanted to kill xia ling. He then captured xia ling bc he hates li lei and she is his gf and while this was going on li lei learned about it and was begging the head of the house to accept xia ling into the family so that li feng wouldn't kill her (their family had a rule saying family members can't harm or kill each other) but the head of the house wouldn't accept that no matter what so li lei announced that he would break up with xia ling (so that li feng would have no reason to kill her anymore since she wouldn't be his gf anymore) and after all of this xia ling flies back. After returning li lei wouldn't let her move out of her apartment and they rarely talk (their relationship was really bad overall)

This was the part that people were talking about but that was the end of it.

After their relationship gets a little better xia ling again offers li lei that she moves out and signs a contract with another entertainment company because she doesn't want to be too involved with the people she is working for/with (or some other reason like that) and li lei accepts it. Their relationship really does get much better after she moves out (btw she isn't working for emperor entertainment, also she is roommates with luo luo now)
