All along Seno was pretending to be Hakushima. There is the thing with the book also. Feels like Senonwas the one who gave it to Natsuka. I’m not sure about this, I should reread to make sure >.< !
Btw, the book thing seems to be a precious moment between Hakushima and Natsuka (I did not read with attention because I’m lazy loo). So when Seno woke up saying he was Hakushima, Natsuka would not believe it. Then to prove he was Hakushima he told him about this precious moment. This is the starting point of Natsuka believing Seno was Hakushima.
Later, they explain how Seno knew about the book thing. In fact, I think he was in love with Natsuka (I’m not sure, but he would care about him in highschool). So he was here when Natsuka and Hakushima shared the book moment. Because of this, he decided to buy the same book. Which is why Natsuka found the book in Seno appartment. He then read through it, and discover some notes about him and Hakushima. Natsuka then start to wonder why Seno would do something like this. He eventually realized that the feeling of love when Seno was pretensing to bz Hakushima, was real. Which reassures him a lot. That’s when he find Seno sleeping in the wardrobe. He was in a bad shape because he had not eat anything. Seno then said something about how strange is it to hear his name, Seno, with Natsuka voice.
Btw. Hakushima is in love with his step mother.
