IDK, but it really isn't as bad as you guys think it is. Lucius kinda had no choice other than to marry those three princesses from three different regions to maintain peace of his country. Polly even befriends them and becomes their knight. Polly rejected Lucius because she didn't want to lose the last name he gave her. In the end, Lucius changes the law making Polly the first woman to keep her maiden name and her rights after marriage while also being his legal wife (not a concubine) . I don't know about her fiance except the fact that he was an asshole. Lucius and Polly end up sleeping together when they both were extremely drunk and eventually married. Their son becomes a warrior in future (he isn't interested in the throne) One of the concubines has a son who becomes the crown prince while another has a daughter. I don't know which wife has which child except the fact that one of them dies in childbirth (while another, who is probably not the mother of these two , gets executed)

I don't think there a scene like this in the novel either. I'm fairly certain it had jumped to the scene of her meeting her "sperm-donor". I think the manga made it more logically for her "willingly" meet him.
