- Jiwon got fucked over by his ex
- He creates a false image of himself at university and with his job as "Alex".
- He's put up a wall around him as a defense mechanism, meaning he can't expose the aspects of himself that he still feels vulnerable about.
- Shit happens and he ends up in a fuck buddy relationship with his stalker fan from university. He puts up a clear boundary as he isn't ready to open himself up emotionally to anything serious. Said uni friend then starts calling their meetings a date, which triggers a panic attack about his past relationship.
- In order to not expose DG to him being upset and annoyed he decides to not contact him for a few days. This also allows him time to gather his own thoughts on how to progress.
- DG is still in his Sunbae is ma idol mode so fails to understand anything about Jiwon's behaviour.
- Fast forward to the festival a day or two later, he gets drunk, which allows him the confidence to let down his guard, he starts to allow himself to be affectionate, crossing that emotional boundary by wanting a proper connection with DG.


All of this happened in under a week, it's just stretched out over all these chapters, so hold your horses.

DG fell in love with someone he only knew through the videos. He thinks that because he's in love then obviously Alex will love him just because he's sleeping with him. DG is very naive and selfish. I think DG does not care what Alex can feel, he thinks only of himself. He never wonders why Alex does not want a romantic relationship. On the other hand Alex is also selfish, but he has reasons in my opinion more understandable than DG who made a perfect image of someone he saw only by video, but strangely everyone hates only to Alex just because DG has an angelic face and he's naive. No one sees that DG is not perfect.

i don’t hate jiwon and I don’t think DG was perfect bc I just want to say both of them did nothing wrong, the situation was T_T
