And she has a month to ensure she survives and protect her love ones, She has almost no time to prepare, no formal survival knowledge, and only fragmented memories from the novel to rely on. In fact, the novel itself confirms her disadvantage because she originally dies in it.
Her not saving more lives especially in an apocalyptic world, is actually smart, it's a world where you cannot trust just anybody —her way of adapting under pressure to save herself and her loved ones is actually one of the best FL characteristics I've seen so far this type of genre.

She only have ONE MONTH, that’s very little time, and we should note that it apparently occurred 10 days before it was supposed to. So, she had around 20 days. It’d also be hard to manage so many people. Not everyone’s a good person and willing to be helpful just as we saw with the man who planned to take over the manor. Along with the fact that if someone in the village got bit they could slip away and become a monster killing everyone during the night, or at the very least take out many civilians. Not everyone will be honest and admit that they’ve been bitten. Your idea is nice, but simply not realistic.
